The staff, the room, the breakfasts, the amenities- everything was just excellent. It was as though the designers and management had carefully researched what we liked when we travelled and it was all there. Some unique features were having a shower we could stand under plus a hand held , different breakfast options each day, and a patio all our own to have a cup of coffee or enjoy just quietly being there.

This place used to be a basic hotel. The remodeling they did was outstanding. It looks modern, clean, cool. Staff was very friendly and attentive. Enjoyed having the breakfast included without too many people.

We loved everything about this hotel except for the attitude of the front desk employee who checked us in. He acted as though we were an inconvenience.

recently renovated - small boutique hotel feel, and lovely courtyard where you can enjoy a cup of joe or some breakfast surrounded by tall trees. the A/C was too loud though; sounded like a train every time it kicked on, so had to sleep with it off, making it somewhat cold. there is a flight path above, as well as nearby train, so light sleepers need to keep that in mind. But overall, would stay here again. Just felt nice.

My girlfriend and I decided to take a last minute overnight trip and couldn’t have been more happy with our choice! The Cottages were so cute, close to all dining options, beautifully designed rooms. The front desk representative, Jack, was absolutely wonderful. We will be back in a couple of months!

Have stayed 3 times, works for an easy and economical overnight in Menlo Park/Palo Alto area. Updated motel with two stories and inner courtyard, modern vibe. Comfortable rooms and great espresso machine in lobby. Only as quiet as your nextdoor neighbor though, as the walls are unfortunately thin.

Love this place. Quiet. New and clean. Enough lighting in the rooms. Comfortable beds and large showers with good water pressure. Best of all is the fabulous espresso coffee machine in the lobby. A high quality breakfast is also included.
