"The room was clean but had a smell of feet coming from the air conditioner. The comforter was well used with some stains and tears. The bathroom towels were thin and stained. We knew it wasn’t going to be higher end. It was just average. The location was decent for what we did. Parking was not a problem."

The kiddos were bummed the pool was not working (we booked in January and got a message saying it was out of order, but hoped by late April it’d be operational…..it wasn’t). The room was freezing though. Turned on the heat and it was still pretty chilly. I would return even with the two downfalls of this stay."

"This hotel is in a university town AND it was Mom's Weekend. It served ts purpose. Would I choose to stay there for any other reason...NO. Good parking situation. Check-in took forever; tried to tell me I canceled my reservation that morning (commonly done so they can "re-book" at an astronomical price because it's parents weekend). All the hallways smelled like marijuana. Door to the outside had shattered glass. Room was awful! Giant red stains on the carpets, scribble marks on the walls, toilet didn't flush, old beat up furniture. Didn't even look at the pool; didn't want to. But it served it's purpose."

"Pillows crappy bed comfortable breakfast was nothing to write home about. Prefer fresh hot cereal instead of instant which is not good for you. Walls are thin you can hear people next door thought I was going to have to call down to desk but they left out and never heard anything else until I woke up around 5am."

"My stay was too brief to elaborate, but the Champaign Garden Inn is a gem. Wish I had more time to enjoy the surroundings."
