The property is in the rebuilding stage. I imagine the rooms will have an upgrade in the future to not look so dated. Beyond that, the bed was comfortable, and the room was warm on one of the coldest nights of the year.

Clean and quiet. Comfy beds and right across the street from an excellent sushi restaurant. Walking distance to pretty much everything in town. We were there a week so it would have been nice to have had a bigger room for the two of us but the one we had worked fine. Price for room was also very reasonable.

It looked ok from the outside in front, but the back side was full of garbage. I was hesitant to even take my dogs out back. The hot water to our sink was turned off because the pipe was broken. Someone's dog started barking and whining during the night and didn't stop. In the morning, when we left, the food from the night before was still on the table in the bar.

Questionable exterior, but decent room for price
We couldn't get a hotel in Yorkton so we ended up here. When we first pulled up I was very nervous. The exterior is rundown and definitely needs some improvements (the screen door fell off as soon as I touched it). Check-in took a while since they couldn't find my reservation (I had only booked it a few hours earlier). Staff was very polite and friendly though. The room itself wasn't nearly as bad as I thought it would be. The main area was clean (minus the empty pop can on the night stand). The corners, baseboards, etc needed a clean. Some updates had been made like no carpet, newer furniture. Bathroom was quite dated, but clean. Bed was comfy. It was very quiet for sleeping. No one was at the desk for check out. I waited a while but had to hit the road so I had to just leave the key at the desk. Wouldn't be a place I'd want to spend the day relaxing in, but for a cheaper room to just sleep it was alright.

The room was simple and clean. There were minor annoyances such as shortage of towels one day, sink tap didn’t work properly. There was quite noticeable train noise but I probably noticed more since it’s a sound I’m not used to.

It was as clean as could be expected for an older property where no upgrading had been done for years. The parking and surrounding area was dirt, mud and garbage strewn about. I picked this place because I was travelling with my dog and it seemed the most convenient according to the website. The bed was quite bad, really lumpy, needless to say I did not get any sleep. I got in late so did not have a shower that night but when I tried to have one the next morning there was not a single drop of hot water. Some of the towels were brown and some were gold…may want to change those. Even though the price was cheap, at the very least there should be hot water. I generally can overlook things especially if staying at a real budget motel, not this time

The room was nice, clean and spacious with TV, microwave, refrigerator and ensuite bathroom. But the property had broken things and junk on the outside and in the dining room area and some other areas i got to explore when i was searching for the front desk attendant on my arrival. It was very off-putting. I was only ok when i insisted he show me the room before I check-in. The attendant was accommodating and helpful. Room Tip for the property: I'd recommend white towels instead of brown if you want guests to use them.

Thanks for feedback, Yes we are opening a Tavern and Kitchen for fresh food within property, as this is the reason the mostly area we using putting new stuff is dining area, we sorry for inconvenence.

Good price, no staff, we seen one person while we were there, we got clean towels 3 out of 4 days, our bed made once. We had to phone a number when we got in the first night and he told us what keys to take off the desk to get into our room. Breakfast consisted of cereal, bread, jam and peanut butter. Sometimes we got coffee. Our room was moderately clean, bedding appeared clean but poor quality sheets. One night we had very noisy neighbours. There appeared to be no staff in the building over night but then we only saw one staff member there occasionally through the 4 day stay. It wasn’t terrible but I would not recommend it, for the money we spend it was safe and okay clean, no extras.

I decided to stay at the Country Inn because of the reviews I read from Hotels.com . It was nothing I had expected. The best pictures are posted but it was seriously a creepy place. The smell was an old musty smell. The tv signal didn’t work so couldn’t watch tv. Never again. I don’t think this place deserved the rating it got.

It was really gross and dirty. I have photos and would strongly advise Expedia to go stay there yourself. I would like a full refund. I was stuck there for 2 nights due to a snow storm.
