We were quite impressed that our room was cleaned everyday, the staff even folded our clothes neatly - we didn't leave any clothes lying around after this because we felt we were giving them extra work. The receptionists were very attentive.
The rooftop restaurant had fantastic views - a bit pricey but we ate there twice because of the view.
Our only concern is that the pool towels smelled a bit funky, i think because the wet towels are left for a while...
"After spending a lot of time researching hotels in Malta, we chose the Solana Hotel based on its location, facilities, price, and room photos. Check-in was smooth, and we were quickly given directions to our room.

"I can't give this hotel enough stars. The staff are the very best I've ever come across. Our daughter who lives in Malta became unwell when we visited her and the staff went out of their way to help us and arrange for us to extend our stay. The hotel is modern, well appointed, well serviced, welcoming and the staff are happy and always helpful. I am so glad I got to stay here."

"I wanted a quiet few days in Gozo - I didn't have a car so picked this hotel for convenience to ferries and buses. I opted for a room with a terrace/sun loungers. I had a really large room on 8th floor, with spectacular views over the harbour, great air conditioning, huge comfortable bed. We also had a large round bath in the room which I wasn't expecting. The infinity pool was beautiful, stunning views and jacuzzi area. Staff were all lovely - we didn't eat at the hotel so cannot comment on...
