Such a good location with easy access to the Skybus, the tram and Marvel Stadium. Despite being so central, it's quiet and peaceful. Super comfy bed. We stay here just about every time we come to Melbourne for an event.

Didn’t realise you needed to put up a sign on the door saying you wanted your room serviced. I’m familiar with putting up a Do Not Disturb sign but didn’t expect a Service Please sign to be needed. There were 3 air conditioning units and they were temperamental. Sometimes they did and didn’t work. Good kitchen facilities but unfortunately the pan was scratched up beyond safe to use. Location was excellent. Very close to trams and although onsite parking was small, I liked that it was locked and onsite.

The Alto is so conveniently placed for my visit. Close to shops, and transport. The room was so quiet, and the bed was amazing. The staff are great and made me feel welcomed.

Ideal Place to stay.

Was a great stay here, clean, friendly staff and very central to transport, eateries and other amenities. I enjoyed it as it was a short walk to the Southern Cross Station, the ability to jump on a tram and move around the city was also a bonus. Highly recommend staying here!

Great place to stay

The place is quiet and clean. I love the extras at the dining room and bathroom condiments. Close to trams, shops. The kitchen could be improvised with dishcloth or scourer, better cooking equipment and decent knife. The location is ideal for public transportation and shops.
