Athens Gate Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"Beautiful hotel right near the temple of Zeus. The location is on a busier road but just on the outskirts of the inner town and acropolis. We had a Zeus view room facing the main road and didn’t find it loud. The rooftop view is incredible. Loved eating breakfast under the acropolis. Our room was small as expected for a city hotel but fine and clean which is important. The bed was very comfortable and there was good shower pressure. Breakfast on the rooftop was on the smaller side but still nice to have. My only complaint with the hotel was there are only two very small lifts so sometimes it did take awhile to get a lift because you can’t really share and walking down six floors is too much. Staff at the front was lovely and helpful- they even packed us a cute little breakfast when we had an early flight the next day. Would deff recommend to be near all the city sites that are major (acropolis ten min walk) and stay here again with our next Athens trip."

"We really enjoyed . Kids loved the pool. Not for kids as lots people book it for work travel. I had no complaints. Metro right out side we used that was very cheep overall very good"

"It was a nice experience overall. My only complaint is that the property allows for you to reserve pool chairs. This should be nice but many people never showed and the chairs sat empty all day with reserve sign still on them."
