My favorite hotel in the Estelar chain line and in Medellin. Nice, comfortable and clean throughout. But the best two features are location in very quiet setting in heart of Poblado and the hotel is very quiet throughout. Close walking to all the amenities we visit Medellin for and excellent reasonably priced taxi service anywhere else in the valley.

For business or pleasure, I rate Estelar Blue my favorite hotel in Medellin, even over all the other Estelar hotel options in Medellin. 1. Location: perfect quiet side street close walking distance to restaurants, shopping, heart of Poblado Avenida commerce. 2. Comfortable, very clean hotel. Decent free breakfast options. 3. Quiet (front faces directions of streets with much traffic, but noise buffered by tall surrounding buildings; ask for quieter back side rooms). Staff very professional, but could be more friendly (same with all Estelar Hotels in Medellin).

This is my favorite hotel in Medellin, which includes other Hotel Estelar chain options in town. Close to the amenities I come to Medellin to shop for or services of all kinds I want or need to utilize. Although less than a block away from main traffic arterials going in all directions, it is secluded on a side street and surrounded by tall commercial and residential buildings and trees which buffer noise and traffic flow. Estelar Blue is tranquil both outside and inside. I just spent 3 days there and never heard a sound outside my room, save for an occasional dog bark from an adjacent apartment complex. My favorite view is to the back side of the hotel where a dense forest scene captures ones focus, hiding the surrounding tall buildings, but not the birds, which this visit featured magnificent wild large red/yellow/blue parrots. Complimentary buffet breakfast presented appealingly in a nice dinning room atmosphere more than appeases ones appetite and comfort. I enjoyed sitting near the open patio window where now and then a white/yellow colored bird would drop in to grab a morsel of food I had set on the railing next to my table and then zip away. The hotel staff were always attentive and helpful.

Enjoyable stay

Loved it here. Hotel is in a quiet location set back from a main road. It is clean, very spacious and very comfortable. The staff are very friendly and are willing to help you with anything. Breakfast was excellent.

Relaxing in Medellín!

We enjoyed our stay here - the staff was lovely, the breakfast was so relaxing on their patio, and the location was excellent! This was my 1st time visiting Medellín and our home base here added to the pleasure.

Totally recommend this hotel in Medellin. Location is great, staff is very nice and rooms are comfortable.... (their toiletries are from my favorite brand!). Only thing is their check-in process is super long.

If you want to enjoy a good dinning, shopping, walking distance area, and not been in the Provenza crowd this is the best hotel to stay. Very quiet, breakfast included, very safe area and customer service is amazing! All the employees were very helpful and super nice all the time. I will definitely stay here again.

I had a really lovely stay at ESTELAR Blue Hotel in Medellín. From the start, the staff made me feel welcome with their kindness and genuine hospitality. Everyone was friendly, helpful, and made sure everything went smoothly. The room was clean, comfortable, and peaceful, with a great view of the city. It was the perfect place to unwind after a day of exploring. The bed was especially comfortable—I slept so well every night. Breakfast was fresh and tasty, with a good variety and great coffee to start the day off right. The hotel is in a great location—safe, walkable, and close to restaurants, shops, and plenty of interesting places to visit. Overall, my experience at ESTELAR Blue was calm, comfortable, and truly pleasant. I’d definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone visiting Medellín.
