The staff was fantastic! Super nice. Easy check in. The place feels a little like a mountain retreat. It has half of a low end economic feel and half higher end feel. The things that make it feel lower end is that there is no air conditioner and no fan and exactly at check out time, the hot water goes off- but otherwise the hot water is good and good pressure. The patio and lobby living rooms are sooooo comfortable and cozy. The restroom is so small that the trash can cannot fit but the shower space is bigger - I really liked it. The little things didn’t bother me

I was very pleased with this hotel. It’s very well located, close to the bars and restaurants of Provenza but just far away enough to be quiet and peaceful. My room was so quiet I had to look at my weather app a couple of times to see if it was raining outside, but it was just the sound of the nearby creek, like having a sleep sound machine (tip: the lower your room number, the quieter the room, if you don’t mind a few stairs). Breakfast is served at Ganso & Castor nearby, the exact restaurant I would have chosen on my own based on experience. The staff at Authentico, Mary and Didier, are very pleasant and hospitable, and they offer you complimentary coffee in the lobby made fresh in a French press. My friend whom I was traveling with commented very positively on the caliber of their coffee. He owns two coffee plantations growing very high-end Geisha coffee (Mikava Coffee, if you’re curious), so for him to be impressed is saying something. I would definitely stay here again.

The property doesn’t have a/c. I’m told there are 2 fans, but they were already being used. No hair dryer in the room. No bathroom door at all. The check in process was cumbersome and took longer than usual. The lady who took care of us was very sweet though, I have no complaints about her at all, she was great. We were on the 3rd floor I believe, and there are only stairs. If this place was more budget friendly, I would’ve gave it 3 and a half stars

Good spot for the low price. No AC, but overall its decent. Close to everything. 5 min walk to Provenza. 8 min walk to Parque Lleras. Safe area walked back and forth wvery night

I believe the Hotel staff came into my room in the middle of the night while I was sleeping in my bed and stole my phone, my charger, my drivers license, one credit card and $2000 in cash off my nightstand that was 1 foot from my face. There’s a camera pointed directly at my door. They told the police that they couldn’t find anything on the camera. I believe they are lying. Either way this hotel is not safe to stay at.
