"Charming Historic Hotel The General Francis Marion is a great hotel with so much classic charm and history. The staff was friendly and welcoming from check-in to check-out. Our room was very clean, and the beds were incredibly comfortable after a long day of travel. A solid, historic property that covers all the basics exceptionally well. Close to Grayson Highlands Hiking - We'd definitely stay here again!"

"Property was clean. More importantly the room was clean. Room was large enough to fit a small play yard for 9 month old twin girls. I will stay at this property in the future. Workers manning the front desk were friendly and courteous. Plenty of parking and easy access to highway."

"We felt so lucky to spend the night on short notice and the Inn was so nice! We will definitely stay again. Cute town with shops if you have time. Lovely dinner at the Inn and very nice breakfast included in our stay. The view at dinner was worth the few miles we drove off I-81."

"The room was clean and comfy. The shower had awesome water pressure. The only downside was the air conditioning unit was crazy loud so sleeping was a challenge. Staff was very nice as well"

"Our stay was most enjoyable. Accomodations were great. Coffee 24/7! Our hosts were friendly. The downtown location allowed us access to a grocery store, eateries, souvenirs, etc. We will return."
