"good location view etc, they have kayaks and bikes to use. Nice location easily drive to Petoskey, next to crooked river with turtles, frogs, birds etc. For price the room was a bit dated. Also the free breakfast was not great. I realize it is "continental" but choices for pastries etc pretty low end."

"Our overnight accommodations were during the July 4th weekend, and I have to tip my hat off to the staff - They were totally booked, and they communicated with such grace and professionalism. The elevator was not working for a short period; it broke down just before check-in, and they did their absolute best to arrange for as many guests as possible to be on the lower floors. They fixed the elevator within a few hours. The rooms are spacious and clean, offering the perfect accommodations for guests. Breakfast was great - The breakfast host was on it - She had a full dining area of guests, and she made sure the dining areas stayed clean and kept everything stocked. I was impressed with her multitasking!!! Holiday Inn has always been a brand that we trust, and this team at the Gaylord location deserves all 5 stars for keeping this location on brand!!!"
