"The staff were pleasant and it was a clean and convenient place to stay... except the walls are paper thin...I will bring earplugs next time and it will be perfect..."
"Good:
-Room was clean, had plenty of towels.
-Pool cleaned every morning, hot tub was on and looked clean, area surrounding it has a lot of room to sit or lay outside, with full sun from early in the morning until late afternoon.
-Both front desk employees I interacted with were great; accommodating and friendly.
Meh:
-The 'smart fridge' was quite slow to chill anything I put in there, despite looking modern and nice.
-Any water coming out of the tap was over 100 degrees in temperature.
-Pillows were either too flat or too thick--nothing in between.
-Some structural stuff in the room; floor had a large sinking area right in the middle, bathroom door frame was rusting and peeling away on the inside.
Nit-picking:
-Housekeeping came knocking just after 7am (including on weekends) unless I hung the do not disturb sign.
-Free breakfast would've been better if there was more fruit available (I saw only a couple Apples each morning) or if it stayed open later than 9AM."
Four Points By Sheraton At Phoenix Mesa Gateway Airport
8/10 Good
"Convenient and safe. Staff is kind and helpful.
Average for cleanliness and wear. Towels are warn and unfresh smelling.
They alternate service days. If you are going to do that then give enoug towels and wash clothes that we are not chasing you in the halls. If there are two people then leave four towels for two days if you do not service until the third day. Leave four wash cloths, one per day per person staying. Who would ever reuse a wash cloth!
Staff is the best part. kind and friendly.
Do not stay in rooms with adjoining doors even light tv you can hear every word until 1:00 am thank you staffer who had to go upstairs to ask the adjoined door neighbors to turn off their TV at 1:00 am. Consider offering a diffent scent of soap shampoo and lotion. Your scent is not unisex. I love men but I don't want to smell like one!! I understand you cater to spring baseball but show a bit of class by offering a different soap/ shampoo and lotion that smells more neutral than a mans aftershave. Good grief! The lotion is rancid If you want to offer soap shampoo and lotion in the huge bottles then check that the lotion hasn't gone rancid. I love to golf but felt very frustrated as a woman visiting there and I am an athlete but I don't want to smell like one!"
"Parking was a disaster, the people before us took the tag to hang in the mirror, property manager was gone and couldn't get it for us. I called and was told if I parked in to spot I paid for, assigned to me with vehicle plate, make model year of the vehicle assigned to it, that I would be towed... I had to park super far away and walk. Then the next day I was told they would leave the tag in our mailbox. When we returned to the room that evening, we went to the mailbox and it was not in there. Again, I could park in the spot I paid for. I was offered a $3 refund for the inconvenience. This is unacceptable. Everything else about the property was amazing, other than the rock hard memory foam bed in the master. The apartment was above and beyond our expectations."
"Large clean, modern, comfortable suite. Good breakfast, nice pool and quiet. Conveniently located between Hwy 8 and Hwy 10 just south of Phoenix. And a Texas Steakhouse a few steps away!!"
