"Our room was clean. Everything that was in this room was very clean. Lots of the Color white. The king sized bed was very very comfortable. The staff we had contact with were very helpful and kind. Breakfast was ok. My husband quite enjoyed it. Me I am little more “fussy” with what I eat. Some foods do not agree with my body. But what I did eat was good. This the second time we have stayed here."

"If you require a room close to the Orchard Park Mall along with many restaurants on the East side of Kelowna, the Sandman is it. Price for rooms are is affordable for a family of four (two queens). Bathroom a bit dated and small. Electric outlets were outside the washroom. hair dryer in room 233 only had low speed so needed replacement. Beds were comfortable with TV, bar fridge, microwave a small closet and a end table on each side of the two beds. There were electrical chargers and reading lamps at each bed. Central rooms had balconies was overlooking the pool and hot tub available to guests. Denny's is attached to the main hotel so made it easy to find breakfast. Breakfast was not included in the price of the room."

"All we look for is a motel with "character", not luxury or modern motels with numbers in their names. But,it must be clean! Recreation Inn fit the bill perfectly. It's old,so it's impossible to keep the property at peak shape- that door closed probably 40 years ago- but the company is doing a good job. Super clean, nice staff, close to everywhere we needed to be at a reasonable price, which is not common in Kelowna. Bonus- you couldn't hear the pickleball players across the road unless you really tried to. I would definitely stay here again."

"the bed was comfortable but the floor needs a good cleaning. i had to wash the bottom of my bedroom slippers before placing them in my suitcase. Having to check in and check out a different location, as directed by a sign on the desk, is not a convenience that i would expect from what you advertise as a high end resort."
