The upgraded room had hair in the bed- long hairs short hairs, the garbage can had shavings from someone in it, the shower and the floor had “short and curly” hair all over. (If you know what I mean by those. ) we told the staff about it and just said please change the bedding and clean our room instead of moving us again. We came back that evening bedding was changed and looked somewhat vacuumed. But the shirt and curly hairs were still all over and bathroom definitely not cleaned. Moving the hand towel to a hook doesn’t equate to cleanliness. "

"This is not a Holiday Inn Express as advertized. It has been a Comfort Inn since 2019. Dirty cleaning rags were hanging in the shower. The shampoo was empty. The pool was out of service. "

"The Staff of the motel hardly spoke English at all and refused to accept the expedia prepayment as they say they never end up getting paid by Expedia. If I wanted to stay I had to pay them again, I refused and booked another motel down the street. Despite this, Expedia refused to refund my money and basically threw the whole thing back in my lap. I will never use Expedia again nor stay at this place in Havana. Instead, dear traveler, book the RED LION Motel in Havana, much better place, great staff and not much more money."
