"Just happened upon this resort last minute. Such a lucky break! Loved the views. Staff is incredibly nice and helpful. Ate breakfast and dinner at the Pruno restaurant everyday of our 5 day stay. Rooms average size, bathrooms were big. Great water pressure in the shower. Good location, close to Florence, Chianti, Sienna. Free parking a plus. Would absolutely stay here again."

"We had the most wonderful time at Casale La Gora. Francesca was super sweet and helpful! We spent 5 nights there and enjoyed every second of it. The room was spacious and comfortable, I missed a bench or couch at night when we were relaxing and extra pillows would have been handy, however the house has two guest lounge rooms with comfy sits. "The staff, specially Gabrielle, was amazing, always went above and beyond to help us with information etc. The place itself is so beautiful that you can just stay there for a whole week, so many things to do and explore. Words don't do justice to this place. If you have kids, its a no brainer, book it!!!"

"This property was nice. We enjoyed our two nights in a home on property. The home was a little dated but overall nice. Getting to Florence was a bit challenging, due to the property being in an isolated area. On the weekends there are only two busses that so by the property... one in the morning and one at night, so plan accordingly."

"The hotel is a bit ways from the city of Florence, 20+ miles but close to the highway. Relatives to the hotel prices in Florence this was much less expensive since we had a rental car. Very clean place, nice size rooms and pretty good choices for breakfast included. The staff was very cordial and helpful and they do speak English good enough to convey the message. "
