"I'm travelling throughout Switzerland for one month by train, so proximity to a station is important to me. This hotel fit the bill for that purpose for a three-night stay, being no more than five minutes from the station on a very direct route. It's a fairly basic property and has seen better days, but it is priced accordingly, so that was a fair trade-off for me. Breakfast options were limited, but again it was priced accordingly. "Booked an evening meal with the hotel on line, but discovered that it was not open that evening. Recommended local restaurant within 8 mins walk was excellent. Breakfast mean - no fresh rolls and little choice. Guess we were out of season! Word of warning: depending on your direction of travel to this hotel, Mont Blanc Tunnel is completely closed from 2 September-16 December 2024. Ultra convenient for Mont Blanc ski lift. "

"Exceeded our expectations. The staff was so kind and extremely helpful. Our room was just as described. It was clean, spacious,queen bed, very comfy! We had a balcony with the most spectacular view of the mountains. Great location, wonderful amenities. We will definitely stay again when we come back.This hotel made our stay in Chamonix, perfect!"
