"This was my second time staying here at this property! Once in March for Mardi Gras this year and this time for a concert! It was close to everything food was in walking distance shopping and overall great stay! I did have to pay for valet separately from hotel but other than that I love this hotel!"

"No complaints and entire stay was pleasant up until after checkout. My flight wasn’t scheduled to depart until 9PM so after checking out around 12 noon, I checked my bags with the front desk to be held for a few hours while I went to Bourbon St to have lunch. Upon return, I still had a few hours before I needed to head to the airport so I decided to grab my blanket and sit in the lobby and had dozed off. That’s when I was awaken by a male staff member who I later learned he was supposedly one of the managers by the name of “Mark.” He was unbelievably rude and condescending telling me “ok you need to GET OUT” very loudly. It took everything in me to not go off on him and I kindly explained I was a guest here and was waiting to go to the airport for my flight. I understand sleeping in the lobby may be unacceptable in some hotels but the same happened at a Houston 4 star hotel and I was not bothered nor yelled at the way this man did me. It was embarrassing and I was furious because it wasn’t what he said, it was HOW he said it. He could’ve simply awaken me and said “Ma’am, are you a guest here? If so, there’s no sleeping in the lobby.” But instead his RACISM allowed him to treat me less than a paying guest and he should NOT be in the hospitality industry let alone in management if that’s how he treats people in general whether they were a guest or not! Other than that, I really enjoyed my stay and would return again as long as “Mark” is not there."
