The room was big, comfortable and clean. However, while in the shower I discovered that both ,the shampoo and conditioner pumps were empty. Later that day we had to deal with a clogged toilet, and after a trip to the front desk, my husband dealt with.😐 they didn’t seem to have anyone close by to deal with issues.

The hot tub was broken during our stay. The room was nice. The breakfast was substandard. There were waffles, bread, like usual. Also eggs with cheese and sausage. None of the food had any flavor. We stayed 2 nights and the experience was the same. The coffee didn't work part of the morning. I expected better given this is a higher-end hotel.

This is our favorite hotel in the U.P., we’ve been staying at it almost 20 years now. They are currently renovating, but it was still clean and quiet.
