"A really wonderful cottage in a very tranquil setting. I had an incredible view of the ocean. Very welcoming and friendly with great recommendations when I checked in really helped me plan during my stay. The bed was very comfortable and the kitchen had everything I needed. Lots of incredibly beautiful beaches nearby, and some excellent tavernas. Made friends with some the local cats. Highly recommend and would love to return one day!"

"Very disappointing stay. This photos show a pleasant hotel with sea views. What we had was a view of the sea with a very ugly old half built building obscuring the view. The receptionist was surly, abrupt and generally unpleasant. No welcoming smile, I felt like we were a burden. The room was full of mosquitos. The bed was a bit like sleeping on a blanket covered rock and only 2 pillows. Breakfast the first morning... my husband is a diabetic and is not able to eat any of the cakes and pastries offered. there was only one piece of dry looking cheese left. This is not usually a problem as most hotels will be able to offer something else, such as eggs or omelette. So I asked the person at the desk (same guy as checked us in) if there was any cooked or other savoury food. the answer was ... 'no'. not even, I am sorry but we don't have anything else. So, having paid €11 each for breakfast (for 2 days) we had breakfast elsewhere. "

"We stayed in Intron luxury villas in June 2023. It was the perfect relaxing break for my husband and myself along with our daughter who had just finished GCSEs. The lovely villa is in a beautiful quiet location and thoughtfully equipped, the private pool was a wonderful luxury and the sandy beach and bay was less than 5 mins walk. The local hotel also has lovely facilities available to those staying at the villas including the private beach with parasols and sunbeams that were always available. The location of the villa was perfect for site seeing and Crete has such a lot of wonderful history to offer. A car is needed as the grocery stores were a mile or so away but had everything we needed and there were plenty of restaurants within 5-10 mins drive. The local food was fabulous. We would love to return next year as a week was not enough."
