"The moment we arrived Francesco greeted us warmly. The room was clean, quiet and had a lovely terrace we could enjoy along with onsite parking. The pool while unheated was a great place to relax at. Fabio, the bartender at the bar provide us excellent service and was always working hard. He’s a great representation of what good customer service should be. The breakfast staff at the breakfast buffet also went above and beyond to make sure our coffee orders and food were just right. Thank you to all the staff for making this a great stay!"

"Nous avons l'habitude de nous arrêter à l'hôtel Gate 4 fois par an, en Mars et en octobre. C'est pour nous une étape obligée pour aller visiter le sud de l'Italie. L'hôtel est bien situé géographiquement. Il a l'avantage d'avoir un parking et un petit déjeuner complet. Le personnel est sympa et les chambres sont toujours d'une extrême propreté. Nous y revenons tous les ans avec grand plaisir."

"We booked hotel Rex last minute so we could just wake up and hop on the train in Lucca. It had everything we needed but no extras. I would only spend one night here. Breakfast was extremely basic and needed to get better coffee at the cafe across the street. But over all room was clean and quiet."

"I found the hotel was very handy with the 24 hour desk especially as flight was delayed and missed the last train to Lucca and had to get a taxi. Staff was friendly and the rooms were clean and airy. Would highly recommend"
