Great place to stay

Everything was great, the guys in the hotel are amazing. Immediately responded to all our requirements. Helped with transportations, met us to/from taxi down the road and carried our bags. Recommended place to stay!

Everything was perfect. Staff were so helpful from the time of check-in until departure. The main street is near by to all the amazing shops and restaurants. Lovely ancient city with beautiful sunset views. Highly recommend.

Beautiful view over Mesopotamia

Lovely hotel in the old part of Mardin with a fabulous view over Mesopotamia. Lots of stairs to get to the Main Street. I was a bit disappointed with the double room which appeared to have no window but the Staff suggested we pay a bit extra and get an upgrade to the top room where we had a lovely view and a sitting area. The bathroom was basic for the price we paid.

We had a really good stay. Sinan and Yunus were magnificent and were always at hand to help. It is within walking distance to old town centre but there are many stairs which would be challenging for people with mobility problems. Our only problem was that plaster flakes were falling from the ceiling. Tahir bey is a taxi driver who works with the hotel and he is exceptionally trustworthy and reliable for taking you out on a tour of Mardin and surrounds at a great price.

Overall we were disappointed after reading previous reviews. The views and staff were very friendly and accomodating. However, the location was very remote. (200!! steep steps to main road) No water provided in the room. Shower was cold and told due to hotel being busy. Breakfast traditional but couldnt provide toast bread, the oranges were sour and egg cold. Brought out before requested and rushed as they were waiting to guard cats. Bed lumpy matress and wobbly (!) Dust on ornaments but toilet clean. Not good value for money sadly.

This hotel is exceptional as it is not only beautiful and carries the architectural signs of the city, but it is also opened by 3 young university friends all of whom are incredibly kind and helpful. We had a special bond with them and our stay was very comfortable. Its beautiful terraces give you a fantastic view of the Mesopotamia plain. I am very thankful!

If you have never been to Mardin or stayed in a locale with such rich history then accommodation such as this will blow you away. This boutique hotel is the former residence of a Jewish family and our hotel room was their former private chapel/synagogue. The bathroom is a bit of an odd retro-fit in the former synagogue (with moderate privacy for those who like maximum privacy) and my overall experience is great. Staff were very friendly and accommodating.

This is one of the most unique hotels I have stayed in. The building is about 700 years old and was formerly a synagogue. It still retains much of the original features. I stayed on the top floor. The room had a 300 year old door with a large oddly key for a lock. The ceilings were high and still have Hebrew inscriptions on it. The rooms are clean, the breakfast was wonderful, and the people who work at the hotel are very helpful.

Personelin davranışları çok çok iyiydi. Otopark konusunda eşya taşıma konusunda çok yardımcı oldular. Odalar temizdi. Kahvaltı anlamında seçenek sınırlıydı zaten tam kahvaltı çok bir beklenti olmaması gerekiyor. Bulunduğu konum itibariyle çok yokuş ve merdiven çıkılması gerekti. Otopark sorunu vardı ancak personel bu konuda sonuna kadar yardımcı oluyor. Özetle, güzel bir konaklama geçirdik.
