"This was a perfect stay for a late summer trip. It was magical. The setting is beautiful. The people in the resort were wonderful (Jeannie!). I would recommend it for all year travel, just for an escape."
"We had the best time at Edelweiss Lodge and Spa! We went to Taos Ski Valley to hike to Wheeler Peak. Helen took care of us the entire time, checking on us on our hike and setting up massages while we were hiking down the mountain. The only negative was there was no air conditioning so it was a little warm in our room. Helen did come through though by getting us a fan. Overall, it was an amazing stay and I would highly recommend Edelweiss!"
"Everything was so great, comfortable bed and sheets. Breakfast was wonderful. The only 2 things for us is we did wake up hot and the toilet is super low to the floor like hobbit size. Lol. . There was a portable cooler type thing which it helped. Otherwise its an awesome place. "
"I had an awesome stay. Everything about my stay was excellent. The hotel, the property, the views, being right on the river, everything. I will be back for sure. Total 10/10. "
"I only stayed for a day but it was a stay to remember. The check in time was later than I’m used to but you have your own parking spot reserved with your room, you walk though a beautiful garden to get to the room, we reserved the storyteller suite, so our view faces the setting sun which was gorgeous.
We didn’t need to talk to anyone because of the contactless check in which was very convenient and hassle free.
The room itself was beautifully decorated and clean, the bathroom was also very...
"Nice hotel in the middle of the Taos main plaza. There are plenty of restaurants and shops within walking distance of the hotel/plaza. Hotel parking is behind the hotel, at a cost of $10 per night. Rooms are not your typical hotel style rooms. They have a rustic character to them that is different from the conventional hotels most people use. Note: When I stayed there in August 2025, there was remodeling being done on the plaza itself, so part of it looks like a construction site. However...
"What a great town to visit for a couple of nights. The lodge itself is very nice. I had a small room that is sufficient for one person. Easy parking. This lodge is on the main street for the town of Red River, and all shops and restaurants are within a 15 minute walk from the lodge. One of the ski lifts is located right next to the lodge. There are two hot tubs available in the back for hotel guests to use. I would recommend this lodge for staying in Red River."
"We have stayed here quite a few times for the wine festival, but this time was a birthday. We were upgraded to a casita in the global village, and this 3 room suite was one of the nicest rooms we’ve had the privilege to enjoy. "
