Nice hotel in convenient place

We stayed one night as a stop over before taking the train to Goa the day after. Very close to the central station. Very nice room, friendly and helful staff. We stayed too short time to use the gym. Good value for money.

Total judgement by the staff and absolutely no interest in checking on guests convenience. When we went the lady there was very good and cordial. Then the male receptionist just kept treating us like thugs. The room was great and so was the location but I just didn't like the staff's service or attitude. Won't be staying here again.

Let me start first with how amazing the staff are. I would like to acknowledge Sreekanya, Savita and Saiee who went out of their way to make our stay comfortable and feel welcomed! They catered to all our dietary needs. The breakfast was simply out of this world. Freshly cooked made to order dishes are prepared for the guests. Actually, I would recommend visiting this hotel for the breakfast itself, if not staying there! The rooms are large, spacious and well appointed. The bathrooms, however, have no windows and ventilation is poor which causes it to have a "damp" smell. This can easily be fixed by installing a more powerful exhaust fan and/ or bleaching the tiles more frequently to kill any bacteria/ odour producing organisms. The location is fantastic. Walking distance to restaurants, train station and some local attractions. Secure parking is available. Once again, many thanks to Sreekanya, Savita and Saiee - we will not forget our stay there and have recommended this hotel to family and friends!

The staffs were very nice in general. They were helpful. Only complaint is the bathroom needs to be cleaner. It was smelly even after housekeeping just clean the bathroom. Also the corners and some molds are not being cleaned thoroughly. One night some other guests were smoking in their room and the smoke got over to our room. The hotel wasn't able to help with the situation. They don't have another room for us to move to, nor do they have a fan for us since the smoke came into our room via the central air.

I booked this after seeing the great rating on Expedia. However, this property does not come close to the others with the same ratings. The room we were given had a moldy smell and we just could not stay there and had to find another hotel for the night. The staff is ok, they are not to be blamed, but this hotel is cheap and it is cheap for a reason .. it does not come close to AJ Suites or Goldfinch or Sea View which are hotels much better in my opinion in terms of location, the property and just the class of the hotel compared to this.

Overall, the stay was satisfactory. The housekeeping staff need major memory upgrade. They forget to replenish toiletries and even take away your personal bathroom slippers without replenishing them.

Front offfice staff was quite rude. We had prepaid for the accommodation, but was asked to pay extra and when we asked for the reason, we were told that we booked online and if we need reasoning we need to contact Expedia. I contacted Expedia about this via email and still hasn’t heard back from them. Won’t be using Expedia for any more bookings.

There was no hot water on the second day 9f my stay. There was no prior intimation nor any alternate arrangements made. I had to call the desk several times and a bucket of hot water provided after almost 45 mins of my complaint. There was no escalation that I could make as only teception desk was reachable. This is very unprofessionaland having paid fairly higher rent, we get this kind of service, which is definitely not appreciated.
