"So glad I booked this place! It felt home away from home for this solo traveler. You had the privacy of your own studio but could go into the home and feel welcomed. Breakfast was such a fun experience with the food and other guests. Fresh coffee, fresh orange juice and freshly cut up fruit were my favorite! Beds were comfortable, slept good. "Comfortable beds, and a good location. Check in and out was easy. We had a room with a spa, but it was just an outdoor bath that looked like a spa, and it was all cracked and dated. Had to fill it ourselves on arrival. The door to the spa area also leaked alot with the rain we had during our stay. If you are after a quiet stay, I would recommend an upstairs room as its quite noisy in the downstairs rooms. Overall not a bad place to stay, but not sure if we will be back."

"I stayed at the Regent Rotorua with my two sons during a family trip. The hotel was clean with useful an amenities, including a kitchenette, two queen beds, and a sofa. Best of all was location: adjacent alleyway with a dozen restaurants and shops, dozens of downtown food and shopping options, and Lake Rotorua well within walking distance. This centrally located hotel is very convenient and family friendly."

"The property was cozy, the staff was helpful, and accommodating. The rooms and areas were very cleaned and maintained well. Would love to stay here again. We enjoyed the lakeside hot tub as well that was very clean although the light there looks like it needs to be replaced. Would be a great spot for large groups as well."

"Party of 5, 2 rooms. We had the absolute best time at the Hana Lodge, the grounds are beautiful and the onsite restaurant was great! The whole staff was amazing!"

"The complex was nice considering what we paid! Though they need to address some of the safety issues around the power points in the rooms. We moved rooms once because of the issue , to find the next room was worse. Message to the management, please address this before there is a fire!!!!"
