It's an OK tourist hotel.
Excellent staff IMHO. The Concord International is a tourist hotel, and it's alright. The rooms were decent, and the hotel service was good. NOTE: There was no hot water in the bathroom.
A the hotel entrance, there was a coffee shop. During the day, they serve a limited but nice food menu. At night, the waitresses and other women working there try to stiff you for every dinar you've got. Don't go to the coffee shop at night!
Expedia have informed me that I shouldn't post any specific room rates here. Alright, I'll just say that I paid a low price with no surprise "extra expenses," and that I'm happy with what I got.
my stay was so comfortable and great. Every things was perfect I just want to say that they have great team with lovely hospitality service specially front office Manager MRS Nseta I want to thank all team there and I recommend this Hotel for my friends .thank you
This hotel is in urgent need of being upgraded, it is old fashioned, everything looks old and worn out, very ordinary, it is around 2 star no more but it is cheap, there is no true restaurant and the re is no reason O would want to try the food as everything is so second rate
The reception girl was very nice and helpful, she had only just started working in the hotel
Pluspunten van deze accommodatie:
Stijlvol hotel (prachtige ontvangsthal/lobby).
Ruime hotelkamer.
Daarnaast meerdere keren koud of lauw water tijdens douchen.
Ondanks toezegging geen airport shuttle aanwezig.
Het ontbijtbuffet (complimentary) is matig.
poor location, old furniture, cold room ,no heating facilities, poor room services, old blankets, smell of smoke every where

Central and economic
Well, you probably read the previous comments of Concord hotel guests, so it isn't a place for families or wellness vacations. The hotel itself had its fame around the 90s, with big rooms, heavy wooden doors, long floors and bold statues. The time has passed on, but the hotel preserved. So you still will get an actual room key. Also keep in mind that it is a three star hotel on the arabic peninsula (not a 3-star hotel in europe). From the airport to the entrance it is a 10 minutes taxi ride for about 4-5 BHD. You can also use the hotel shuttle for 7 BHD. The reception is friendly and tries to make the process easy for you. The advantage of your room is, that you have an own entrance room with at least two sofas, living room table and TV. Addtional an own kitchen, bath room and a spacious bed room with up to 3-4 beds (1x queen size and 2x singles). The disadvantage is, the elderly furniture is unfirm, the kitchen objects are limited to the basic and the bath room equipment has seen better days. There was no room service during my whole stay, for cleaning or emptying the trash. Beside the usual sound sources in arabic cities, it is a busy district. The odour of the surrounding neighborhood will stick if you aren't closing the windows. So if you are independent traveller who wants to be near the center and avoid the expensive known hotel chains around the world trade center for business folks, than this hotel is a legitimate choise.
After staying in this hotel we felt disappointed.
The pictures on the website is totally different from realty.
The first imprison you got once you enter the neighborhood is to be have some fear that some bandits will jump on you to take you money.
When you enter the loopy and you see the reception you feel the depression
after that you got to rooms and you see the oldest hotel materials ( I think other hotels stopped using it since more than 10 years)
The smell inside the hotel it’s a mix between mold, humidity.
The beds smell mold and mites.
When you try to go to sleep you will hear the wind blowing through the windows and the hotel sign makes a squeaky noise like horror movies
For the hotel services
- free Wi-Fi : you can't even brows Google
- free breakfast : No way that is 3 starts hotel breakfast you find only toast bread & one croissant ) and also they don’t allow you to enter unless you bring a slip from the reception
- Night club : which is not exist
- Free parking : they don't have its a small land in front of the hotel and it’s not theirs
After all the least you can say is this hotel is not for humans and it should be removed from the Hotels.com list, cause its bad reputation for you.

Mediocre
The hotel was the definition of average. The room was spacious but terribly out dated. The room has a large bathroom, kitchen with only a mini fridge, living room with decent furniture and an alright bedroom with a firm bed. The staff was decent but didn't understand English too well. The 2 major problems I had with this hotel was the location, which was awful (really trashy) and the night club at night, it was loud and made the lobby crowded. Personally, I wouldn't stay here again but if you're just in town for 1 or 2 nights and can put up with a mediocre hotel, I'm sure you'd be fine.
Hotel never bothered to respond to my email requesting an airport pickup, even though airport an shuttle service is listed as one of their amenities.
The windows had vents in them, and the door and the walls were of poor quality, making it very very noisy. As a result, I had hardly any sleep that night.
The hotel's staff was friendly and helpful but the room itself below basic and room cleanliness was not given. I found cookie crumbs all over the place and was not sure linen was replaced. The bathroom had stains all over and I found a used shampoo bottle in the shower. The air conditioning was blowing in my face all the time to the point that I came down with a cold the next day. I even tried to cover it with the curtain which helped a bit. Breakfast was very basic. The hotel also was just plain hot.

Ummm... :-(
Not clean!
No car parking, they are using a public car parking area.
I BOOKED (CHK IN 29MAY CHK OUT 01JUNE-2013) THIS HOTEL IMMEDIATELY WITH IN FEW MINUTS THROUGH EXPEDIA WITH GOOD RESPONSE AS A MINI SUITE. WHEN I REACH HOTEL THEY TRSF. ME AS DELUX DOUBLE ROOM, I ASK THEM WHY YOU NOT PUT ME AS I BOOKED THEY TOLD ME THIS IS MORE BIG AND NISE ROOM WITHOUT ANY EXTRA CHARGES. NEXT DAY AGAIN THEY UPGRADE ME FOR VIP-SUITE WITHOUT ANY EXTRA CHARGES. I ASK THEM WHAT IS THE REASON YOU TREAT ME AS VIP. THEY TOLD ME WE CAN OBSERVE VERY EASSYLY OUR CUSTOMER BEHAVE THAT THE REASON WE PUT YOU AS A VIP.
MY SEDATION FOR EVERY ON HOTEL LOCATION, STAFF BEHAVES, RESTAURANT & CLUBS ALL ARE AS A STANDERD WITH PICK & DROP AS PER YOUR FLIGHT. ALL STANDERD AND TEST BY YOUR OWN BEHAVE. HOTEL STAFF CAN JUDGE YOU WHEN YOU REACH TO COUNTER, AND THEY CAN ALOT YOU AS PER YOUR OWN BEHAVE AND STANDERD.
Good location. The taxi from the airport knew exactly where to go. The neighborhood was chock full of convenient services. Nice stroll down to the World Trade Center and the art exhibits. Huge room! Alas, couldn't get the television to work, but I wasn't in Manama to watch TV. Fairly good wifi internet connection.
The staff was very helpful and cheerful. They secured me a driver for a tour of the town and I was able to negotiate a reasonable rate for a five hour tour! The second time I was through town I had just checked in when the boss changed my plans. The staff allowed me to rest in the room for an hour and got me a cab directly back to the airport.
Not a fancy, shiny, glitzy palace, but good, solid value at a decent rate.
