"Apart from the entrance coming from the carpark that resembled an open sewer we enjoyed our stay the staff were lovely particularly in the restaurant. Our room was comfortable and clean. We were not offered any vip gift which was disappointing"

"A unique place. Our room was warm and cosy. Restaurant was a high standard and reasonably priced. Love the Spa. Overall a good experience but some areas do look a little tired. I would recommend this hotel. Be aware of the £15 a night parking charge if you don’t book direct at the hotel’s price. The nearby council carpark is £11 for 24 hours, and street parking around the hotel is unrestricted and free."
