"Beautiful accommodation and lovely chatty staff, I felt right at home to make myself a tea or coffee in the common area. The shared bathroom was spotless (and only shared with one other suite). Just a walk away from the village and castle grounds. I would stay there again and recommend to anyone."

"After arriving at the hotel we left right away to head out for dinner. After coming back to the room around 10:30 we noticed the TV would not turn on nor did any of our outlets work. We phoned the front desk and a worker came around 11pm. They could not get the outlets or tv to work either. At 12pm we finally had to move rooms (as we had to have working outlets to charge our phones.) However, the only room left was by the elevator. This room was not bad at all, very clean. But it was rather...

"Outside looks lovely, inside is confused. Decor is definitely trying too many things and it looses the classy feel I think they were trying for. Furniture is worn and some feels a bit grubby. Bath towels are awful, very rough and should be replaced. Staff was friendly and breakfast in the morning was good. Parking was also good and convenient. For the price it definitely needs a refresh."

"We stayed at The Lucan Spa two different days during our trip as we were driving through Ireland and it was not too far from the airport. I can’t say enough about the staff - we arrived early and we were able to leave our luggage there with no problem. I injured myself and they were genuinely concerned and extremely helpful. "The hotel was clean and looked good. The bar was excellent with comfortable seating in a quiet atmosphere. Downside was there was no hairdryer, bathroom felt a bit small but got the job done. The bus driver from the airport was rude as he treated the bus as his personal vehicle and played loud music that he favored. When asked to turn the volume down he told my partner to sit down. Complaint was registered at the front desk."
