"This is such a lovely retreat, all credit to manager Kelly and her family. She went out of her way to make us feel welcome and it was much appreciated. The refurbished rooms were nice, clean and warm and the private shower was awesome. We had an awesome time and were lucky to see two kiwi on the grass near the bush even though it was raining, and we heard lots more. It was really magical!"

We stayed in a gorgeous large and spotless room (thanks again for the upgrade!) with kitchen and bathroom, all perfectly and thoughtfully equipped. In addition, many wonderful things were offered, from free baristas morning coffee to bicycles, beach towels & umbrellas, pool and tennis court use. Highly recommended! "

"What a great location in Paihia! At the very beginning of the strip, so you’re away from the busier hub up. Close enough for a quick seven minute walk to the pier and the center, passing great cafés and beautiful scenery along the way. Directly across the beach with beach bbq’s and picnic tables. Swimming in the ocean was fabulous and if you don’t like that, the pool is sparkling, clean and heated plus hot tub! Accompanied with daily fresh towels and service touchup for the room. Includes...

"We had our own little cabin (Unit #8). Open floor plan for kitchen, dining, bed. Seating on a nice little deck. Shower looks tired, but hot water showed up quickly and I had a good shower. Our only issue was that there were ants in the kitchen. The owner/manager said he would take care of it when we went out for dinner, and when we came back, no more ant issue."
