Wonderful facility & well priced too

We had a wonderful experience & we were very well taken care of by Martha. She was also very gracious to wait up to receive us, since the flight came in very early in the morning. The facility is conveniently located close to public transport, shops etc. the facility is at the beautiful beachfront, with great views.

Accueil et conforts mitigés peut mieux faire

Très déçue par cette offre. Accueil moyen, pas de commodité dans les chambres ( pas de savon et autres) pas de changement de serviette de toilette. Cadre agréable mais caniveau d’évacuation d’eaux usées à proximité se jetaudans le lagon. Petit déjeuner très bon chambre climatisée. Excentree de tout mais arrêt de bus en face. Pour les chambres côté route très bruyant.

Kleines und feines Hotel

Die Dame vom Hotel war seeeehr nett. Sie hat sich gut um uns gekümmert. Wir konnten in der Küche sogar etwas Essen zubereiten, den Kühlschrank nutzen (hatten im Zimmer keinen). Die Umgebung ist solala, ist aber überall auf der Insel etwa gleich. Strand sehr schön, es hat auch einen kleinen Supermarkt und gleich ein Haus weiter hat es noch ein anderes Hotel, in dem man gut Essen kann. Restaurants hat es nicht sehr viele und alle sind ziemlich teuer (ist aber überall so auf der Insel).

Guest House direkt am Strand

Wir hatten die Villa Dorado gebucht. Aufgrund der ungewöhnlich starken Niederschläge zu unserem Reisetermin und der damit verbundenen Unbewohnbarkeit unseres Zimmers wurden wir von der Hotelleitung ungefragt auf das daneben liegende 5 Sterne Hotel Crown Beach umgebucht. Crown Beach und die Villa Dorado haben den gleichen Inhaber. Das alles zum selben Preis. Für uns ein Glücksfall ! Die Villa Dorado wird zur Zeit komplett renoviert (neue Bäder, Zimmer neu gestrichen) und ist für uns aufgrund ihrer Lage direkt am Strand und der privaten Atmosphäre (nur 5 Gästezimmer) auf jeden Fall zu empfehlen.

Bra budget alternativ på mahe

Trevligt guesthouse, nära tungt trafikerad väg. Restaurang plus supermarket runt hörnet. Fin strand 10 m från huset. Fullt utrustat kök. Kasst wi-fi och jävligt dålig dusch.

Traumhafte Villa

Es waren traumhafte drei Tage. Eine Villa direkt am Strand, mit Hängematte, gemütlicher Hollywoodschaukel... Frühstück direkt auf dem Strand, super lecker. Freundlichstes Personal. Pool vom Nachbarhotel kann mitbenutzt werden!!!

This b&b is on the beach and the two ladies that cook breakfast are great ,but thats where it stops there is no management to take care of the little things and getting locked out of the resort at night because some one thinks your in your room is not good to say the least ,dark road no lights at gate ect.

Idéal pour un séjour court

Accueil tranquille à la créole, avec le sourire. Cadre magnifique intérieur et extérieur sur la plage. Proximité des bus intéressante pour les déplacements, mais bruyante en journée. Les bus n'acceptent pas les valises et les taxis pratiquent des prix exorbitants. La chambre côté montagne prend l'eau quand il pleut. Sinon rien à redire sur la qualité du service, du petit déjeuner et des équipements de l'hôtel. Possibilité de faire ses courses à proximité. Un restaurant à côté, mais les prix sont assez élevés. Nous sommes restés une nuit avant et une nuit après notre croisière.

Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis passt absolut nicht

Das Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis passt in diesem heruntergekommenden Hotel leider überhaupt nicht zusammen. Die Dusche war ebenso wie der Toilettensitz defekt und das TV funktionierte nicht. Sauberkeit hat man in den Zimmern vermisst und die Hotelmanager haben sich erst bei Bezahlung blicken lassen. Es gab keinerlei Informationen über die Gegend, geschweige denn irgendwelche Tipps für unseren Aufenthalt dort. Wir hatten ein Zimmer mit Meerblick gebucht. Leider konnte man das Meer aber nicht aus dem Zimmer heruas sehen. Dafür musste man auf den für alle Besucher frei zugänglichen Balkon gehen, um das Meer sehen zu können. Die Küche darf nicht zum Kochen benutzt werden - hier suggerieren die Fotos ebenfalls etwas anderes. Die Straße hinterm Hotel ist extrem laut, da die Zimmer sehr hellhörig sind.

We booked a hotel for one night which we thought was close to the airport. It was not that close; a half-hour's drive away. Lighting in the room was poor and there was no wakeup calling available. The photo's shoed a nice beach, but at low tide, the beach was very rocky and the water some several hundred yards away through some rough and jagged coral. When we came back from dinner at 9 PM the one night we stayed at the hotel, the gate to the hotel courtyard was locked. We had to go next door to a different (and much better hotel) to call someone and unlock the gate. Our room was big and clean, but the hotel appears to be poorly managed.

Our private House at the sea side.

We enjoyed 14 long lazy days here while our fellow guests were busy getting to or coming from other islands! Everyday we found other Mahè beaches-Anse Royale, Intendance, Baie Lazare and Takamaka Beach (best snorkeling grounds)were favourites. There are many more still to discover. We used the local buses, cheap and cheerful. We used local markets for fish to grill in Dorado Villa. Fruit and vegetables with delicious curries were our daily fare. Weather great for 90% of the time. Flash rainstorms were a welcome cool change! We enjoyed the kitchen where we were able to cook and enjoy our home cooking with local ingredients.We love getting involved with the local people over their food. Ofcourse we left the kitchen in the same clean way we found it. This is a must for all visitors. For laid back travellers with little desire to see churches and museums and the like, this place is very well situated. Noisy because it is close o the road... But then that was it's advantage for us! While lying in the hammock facing a private well kept beach, gently rocking in the breeze, and very few tourists to disturb- What a lucky find.

Leuk hotel, goed gelegen, langs het strand

Personeel heel vriendelijk maar directie helemaal afwezig (pas van directie veranderd): dus er wordt helemaal geen informatie of advies gegeven. Het enige dat ze gedaan heeft was een barbecue en feest organiseren voor haar familie en vrienden (de gasten waren niet uitgenodigd) tot laat s'avonds (met muziek en lawaai). Wij hadden de vorige nacht al niet geslapen... Heel jammer ! Wij hadden toch iets anders verwacht. Wat ook vervelend was is dat er geen toegang tot de keuken meer mogelijk is voor de gasten en er wordt ook geen avondmaal meer aangeboden wat nog niet het geval was toen wij geboekt hebben. Maar één restaurant nabij gelegen (nogal duur) van de familie van de directie... Voor de anderen heb je een wagen nodig... Dus heel prettige plaats maar de ziel is weg !

Tolle Lage direkt am wunderschönen Strand

Dieses Hotel lebt von seiner Herzlichkeit durch die Angestellten. Martha ist "Mädchen für alles" und kümmert sich rührend - einfach super! Es war immer sehr sauber und das Frühstück wird im Freien serviert - mit Blick auf den Strand. Die Meerblick-Zimmer haben leider keinen "echten" Meerblick, da zu viele Bäume davor sind.

Perfect Stay on Mähe

House for a Perfect Stay in Mahe, well situated on the Island, Car is recommended to explorer the Beauty of the Island. Absolutely close to the Beach. Room & Villa is absolutely Perfect to relax. Breakfast is very good. Zack is always very helpful.

Bel hôtel directement sur la plage.

Charmante guest house les pieds dans l'eau. Belle maison de style colonial au bord du lagon. Peu d'eau pour se baigner à marée basse. Les chambres sont grandes et spacieuses. En revanche, on est un peu isolé de tout. Prévoir une voiture pour se balader ou prendre les bus locaux. Il y a un arrêt de bus, tout proche. L'hôtel a l'avantage d'être seulement à environ 4 km de l'aéroport de mahé. Parfait pour les solitaires !

Extremt välskött hotell direkt på stranden

Dorado villa är extremt välskött, mycket rent och fräscht, välstädat. Värdparet mycket hjälpsamt och trevligt! Hotellet ligger precis på stranden, dock en ganska liten strand, men går fint att bada här. Helt ok frukost. Några få busstopp från Anse Royale, där några restauranger finns, samt kan man äta på hotellet bredvid och det finns en bra supermarket 100 meter bort. DOCK bil måste rekommenderas om man stannar här längre än några nätter, då det ligget lite "mitt i ingenstans". Hotellet som sådant rekommenderas dock varmt i övrigt!

一个很温馨的民居。

酒店是一幢2层楼的民居，比邻海边。就在环岛公路侧，离机场其实不远，交通还行。2分钟路有个超市，挺方便。装修很有格调，舒适，温馨，有家的感觉。边上就是海滩，到南部的海滩还比较近。离著名的BEAU VALLON 海滩比较远。推荐这里。

Sehr hübsche Villa mit viel Platz

Viele nette Details, gute Ausstattung, viel Platz für wenige Gäste, sehr gut geführt, man kann sich wirklich darauf konzentrieren, sich komplett zu erholen, und auch ein Regentag macht gar nichts aus. Außerdem sehr gute Schnorchelmöglichkeiten direkt vor dem Haus (v.a. wenn man hinter die Riffkante geht)

Amazona little retreat!

Hi, this little guest house is a very nice choice if you want something quite and away from the confusion of big hotels. The hosts are really nice and try to help you to have a great stay. Zack and Yulia, try to be "invisible" and do not disturb the guests, which is nice. Additionally, they provided an excellent map of Mahe with the places to go, and why (Restaurants, beaches, etc). Saying that, I would like to describe the guest house: Cleaningless - very clean and the rooms are clean everyday (as expected). Beach - The beach is small, but clean and the guest house is really ON the beach. Breakfast - The breakfast is served between 8 and 10.30am and it comes with toasts, butter, jam, coffee, milk, mixed tropical fruits and "a la carte" omelets. Amenities - There is a small shop near the villa, just 50m to the left. Additionally, Wi-Fi is available for free, but limited to 50mb per day, per room. Rooms - Very nice and spacious rooms with a pleasant balcony (with seats). The A/C works properly and it ha a mini-refrigerator. Surroundings - The villa has its own parking (free) and it is located in a beautiful bay with the reef just 300m from the beach. Additionally is 15m from the airport and 5 minutes (driving) from nice restaurants. All in all, I loved this guest-house and my stay. Quietness, friendliness and beach are the trademarks of this hotel and for sure I would go back!

Sehr nette Mitarbeiter, hält aber ansonsten leider nicht,was es verspricht. Bushaltstelle direkt vorm Haus, dadurch auch leider der Lärm der Busse.
