"Dormy Inn is one of my favorites whenever I could afford it is my choice of hotel to stay. Except sometimes their hotel is located a bit further away from train station as my main mode of transportation. Dormy Inn Oita is located right next to Oita station. Their staffs were very friendly. It was a bit rain and as we got umbrella for they day and it was dripping when we brought it back but staff was no problem and grab it from me with smiles. The 2-bed room we stayed was roomy enough for us. Public bath was excellent which was another reason I picked Dormy. Night noodles was good and a good add to have a sweet dream. "

"Bathroom and room are clean. For a standard room, room is small for a couple but the queen bed is comfortable. Staffs are helpful. The onsen bath is on the 14 floor see the view of the town. Reasonable cost & quality"

"Great onsen hotel near the Beppu station. No shoes allowed in the hotel which is unique. 7 private onsens plus public baths were available. Free ramen is provided for supper. There’s massage chairs available for use too. Very comfortable stay except light in room is by sensor which is rather annoying. But all in all, still enjoyed my stay and will look to stay here if I ever come back"

"Idividual parking building next to the hotel. The parking lot was almost full for the day I stayed at the hotel. The public bath is big and well kept. The elevator is a bit slow. Lawson right across from the hotel. There are smoking rooms available. Although a bit outdated I had a comfortable stay"

"Very basic but in the perfect location for a short stay as 5 minutes walk to both the train and bus station. The beds were very firm and the pillows felt like they had rocks in them! Bedding was really good quality and clean. Towels were the smallest I’ve seen (like baby/children size). Reception kindly rang an onsen to make our private reservation. In summary, clean but very basic. Suited our needs for a short stay but couldn’t have managed another night. "
