"The rooms on the 1st floor where the office is are very musty. Shower drain was slow. Besides that the place was clean."

"All the facilities are extremely outdated and need significant updating. The online pictures were not representative of the quality of the rooms and in my opinion misleading. I experienced rotes wood on door and windows, stained tub, blocked and rusted out walkways, poorly maintained parking lots and overall outdated conditions. The only negative was that the beds were not very comfortable . We actually left a day early due to the beds. They were nicely made with clean linens...they were just very firm beds. "The standard room is nothing more than a Motel 6 set up and over $200/night. The doors are on an exterior walkway and have cracks that let in air, noise and light from the walkway outside. We could hear snoring and full conversations through the walls. The continental breakfast was breads and yogurt. The indoor pool was ok but only 3.5 feet deep and the only place to swim; the outdoor swim up bar was wonderful but you cannot swim in it. This is not a resort."

"The absolute worst. If I could give negative stars I would. We showed up and the place looked like it was about to be condemned. Then, we checked the room out and it was so damp and musty we refused it. Kindly, we were offered another room which was just as bad. We refused it as my wife has terrible allergies to mold and the like. We explained this to the property manager and he refused any sort of refund. So here we are 16 hours from home and no where to stay and we wanted to be within...

"Our room was extremely run down. I requested we be moved to another room and that one was only slightly better. For the amount we paid, I expected somewhere I would feel comfortable staying. Unfortunately, it felt gross and dirty. It actually made me feel like a bad mom because I was letting my son stay somewhere so dirty. Extremely disappointing and not a great start to our vacation. Silver lining was it was only one night."

"The location of the Lake House Inn was great for visiting my husband's brother and his girlfriend. The room was attractively decorated, the beds reasonably comfortable, and the room reasonably clean (baseboards and walls are due a good wipe-down, though). TP dispenser was MUCH too far from the toilet and there was a faceplate for a control to a nonexistent heat lamp that hung loose from the wall. Maybe remove the faceplate and TP dispenser and plaster over those spots? DO NOT book through...
