My significant other and I really enjoyed our stay here. Our room was really nice and we had an awesome view of the lake from our balcony. The two women at the front desk were so nice. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

A good bargain at the price. The staff were very helpful and friendly, and the lakeside room was just what we needed; just steps from the Arnold ferry. The property really needs an overhaul and a remodel.

The room was clean and comfortable. The staff were friendly and very helpful. They called a shuttle for us and gave us suggestions of things to do and route information for things in the area. I would definitely stay here again.

Plenty of parking on the property. Friendly and helpful staff. Clean room, comfortable beds, cold AC. Good water pressure when showering. We didn’t use the pool but it looked awesome. The property needs to upgrade their windows and sliding glass doors along with the flooring of the elevator but otherwise, it was a good stay. The hotel is literally next door to the Arnold Transit Company (one of the ferry companies) which made it very convenient!

This was a basic inexpensive hotel. Keep your shoes on in the room because the carpets are old and sticky. However, it was a good location and was sufficient. There is no breakfast though, just granola bars and coffee. The staff was great and the pool was nice.

As other reviews have stated, the hotel is in need of renovations. The carpet is dirty- my husband walked around barefoot and his feet were black in a few hours. Everything is outdated. It is in a great location though. It has balconies and close to the ferry. Steps to the beach and close to everything.

HOLY! I’m just not sure what it is with these mackinaw city hotels…. You think being that big of a tourist destination you can’t go wrong! After reading tons of poor reviews this one had the best reviews so went with this. WELL, the only good thing was that he front desk guy. Our room smelled like piss, the light didn’t work and when I went to call front desk, the phone didn’t work either. Went down and he moved us to a new room. Felt a little cleaner but at that point I was so throughly grossed out it was hard to feel good about it. It here was a panel missing off the wall with insulation sticking out, but at least it didn’t smell like pee and our lights worked. I can say, the view from the balcony was definitely gorgeous. Probably the only good thing about this place, the view and the front desk staff. Something needs to be done here, it’s just awful!

Check in was 5pm. We were allowed to park prior to that and spent the day on the island which was nice. The cleanliness was eh. Carpet felt gross and needs updating. General maintenance and upkeep is lacking.

The hotel was fine. The beds were comfortable and the room was clean. The parking situation was unacceptable. There was nowhere to park! The hotel parking lot has basically been turned over to people looking to pay for day parking to travel to Mackinac Island. I understand the hotel is likely far below capacity on many days and selling parking is another income stream. But when you don't have parking spots for paying guests, it is unacceptable.

This motel was about a one or two. It was not very clean. The carpets look like they have not been cleaned for years. Spiders everywhere.The bathtub only had either hot water or cold water.Nothing in between. It had a nice balcony, but the balcony had carpeting, which was wet. There was a decent pool and sauna area. Also a small workout area. The beds were comfortable. Walls of the rooms were very thin, could hear everything next door. There was no continental breakfast, although they served coffee.Which was good. Musty smelling throughout the facility. I do not recommend this motel and I find it very sad that it was under the umbrella of Wyndom resorts.
