This was a delightful inn with a great porch for morning coffee and afternoon wine. I would highly recommend this location to anyone traveling to Mackinac. It was away from the crowds but still just a short walk from everything.
Overall, We were pleased. However, we most likely will not stay there again. Next door to the property is a residence that houses, what looks to be employees of the island. There was incredible LOUD, shouting from the residence two nights in a row. This noise of TALKING, SHOUTING, YELLING, AND LAUGHING went on consistently for over two hrs each night. This occurred from 2:00AM, on each night. Awful!!
Gorgeous old victorian home with old-world charm. Kind staff, baked goods and a variety of to-go items for breakfast. Excellent location. We plan to stay here again!
Very nice inn. Super friendly staff. Would def stay here again. It’s an old Victorian type inn so don’t expect a new modern hotel. Very clean and location was nice as it was close to town but far enough way from the busy areas.
Staff were very warm and welcoming. The breakfast was not very good. The boiled eggs were several days old, only one choice of milk, etc. There also was no public refrigerator available which is important when there are none in the rooms, especially for nursing moms or those who have medicines that need refrigeration.
