Lee House is in a very convenient position to visit Lynton and in walking distance to the lift down to Lynmouth. The room was very clean and spacious with a comfortable bed. Gregg our host was very friendly and helpful and the breakfast was delicious.

First class

So it appears we were the first guests of the new owners Greg and Joanna, and the the faint whiff of paint in the hall was the last remnant of the obvious hard work they've put into renovating this B&B. From a location point of view, the accommodation is perfect. Turn left out of the front gate and it's a short walk to the top TA rated restaurants in Lynton, the cinema, eclectic shops and the cliff railway. Turning right takes you past the convent and candle factory to the spectacular valley of the rocks which leads neatly onto the coastal path which can be taken down to Lynmouth. We selected the twin room which was light and airy, sported a full sofa, was spotlessly clean(which was a theme throughout the property) and well stocked with all the quality consumables you could possibly need. I had a really good nights sleep helped by a couple of Tributes in the Crown, and the tv and wifi worked a treat. The selection at breakfast would leave no-one wanting including home made jams and marmalade(lime in particular thank you) and the english breakfast was immaculate. Greg was a very attentive host and his wife joined us after breakfast was complete for a chat, and their enthusiasm and attention to detail will stand them and their guests in good stead. We had a wonderful stay at Lee house it’s a charming bed and breakfast. The building itself is full of character and beautifully maintained. Inside, everything was spotlessly clean, warm, and incredibly comfortable truly a home away from home. The hosts were welcoming and attentive, making us feel right at ease from the moment we arrived. A perfect place to relax and enjoy the beauty of the area. Highly recommended!

Liz and Derek’s visit to North Devon.

Lee House is exceptional. The best b and b we have stayed in. The selection of food available for breakfast could not have been better in a 5 star hotel. They catered for my dietary needs and the presentation of the food was excellent. The room was very comfortable and beautifully decorated as was the rest of the house. I am sure we will be visiting again. Thanks to Gregg and Jacqui.

A little gem amongst the treasures of North Devon

We spent 4 nights at Lee House during September. Gregg and Jacqui were wonderful hosts, very friendly and helpful with information on the area. The hotel was extremely comfortable and clean. Breakfasts were absolutely delicious. We cannot rate this hotel highly enough, would definitely recommend.

An exceptional stay

We rarely stay in B&B accommodation , but Lee House is in a class of its own ! Hosts are helpful and extremely pleasant without being intrusive and the standard of hygiene and cleanliness is exceptional. Breakfast is peaceful with a vast choice of food , all cooked to order and professionally laid out. A nice touch is the fridge in the lounge with fresh milk available for the room.

Excellent host, nice house, exceptionally clean, lovely breakfast, pretty gardens. Parking a little challenging and some trouble with the hot water in beautiful bathroom but otherwise perfect. would definitely recommend.

Geat guesthouse for walks around Lynton

A great place to stay, very comfortable, very peaceful, really nice breakfast with plenty of options, rooms have very good amenities. Very well situated for walks along the coastal path and valley of the rocks. We would highly recommend this guest house.

Just what was needed

Lovely stay all the small details thought of, felt very covid safe. Gregg was very attentive and breakfast cooked to perfection (home made granola very worth a try) beautiful room (The Garden Room) with its own little patio area. Will hopefully return in the future, this has made us think twice about staying in large corporate hotels which we have always done in the past.

Fantastic place to stay

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Lee House, a lovely warm welcome when we arrived. The room was spotlessly clean with everything we needed. Breakfast was made with lovely fresh local ingredients. A lovely homemade cake was left for guests to help themselves to, nice little touches that made the stay so enjoyable. Would recommend to anyone to visit.
