Lovely old style hotel with lots of character. There was a good hot and cold selection at breakfast, where the staff were particularly attentive and we enjoyed the service in the classic bar area.

Amazing breakfast buffet, staff was helpful and courteous, and the location can't be beat. While some of the amenities are dated they are in excellent condition and nothing is lacking. The bathtub was perfect for a long soak and I wish I'd had time to enjoy the common areas. The entire place is a throwback to a more elegant and graceful era- staying there felt like being an ambassador from the 1960s, not the road weary backpacker I was.

I love the history of the Cravat hotel. The bedrooms are large and comfortable. The only quibble I have is being given an “internal” room where the window just looks out to the opposite wall.
