This was a ver nice hotel with extremely friendly staff and a tasty breakfast. It is perfectly situated right off of the Theater stop on the tram so very easy to navigate around the city.

Check in was excellent, very friendly and professional, other reception staff were so good, didnt appear interested in their work or their guest's. TV nor the room safe worked but both were remedied .Good and comfortable stay in a pleasant hotel with good transport links to the city centre.

Small but nice in Luxembourg City

It’s a small hotel nestled in the city. It was an European thing, but you have to put your room key in the slot to get electricity to your room. Enjoying the multiple opening windows. The continental breakfast was nice.

The front desk staff were so friendly and helpful. My daughter is an exchange student and there are so many administration stuff to finish. The staff helped us a lot. I am so grateful to stay here. I will definitely come back if I visit again Luxembourg in the future.

Basic room, great shower!

The room was pretty big compared to most tiny European hotel rooms. There was a fridge which we really liked, there was a nice magnifying mirror which is really helpful. You're going to love the shower pressure which was fantastic. The only problem with this hotel room was the bed was just two single beds stuck together which was very uncomfortable for my husband and I. Also the fan in the bathroom sounded like it was broken and was quite loud.. someone should fix that as it is a fire hazard.

Wonderful Hotel

My one-night stay at Best Western Plus Grand Hotel was excellent. Customer service was outstanding-I had an issue with turning on the heat and the front desk lady crossed the street and came to my room to turn it on. The room had everything I needed including a hot water kettle to make coffee or tea. Everything was quite clean especially the bathroom-loved their shower. It is quite easy to get from the central train station to the hotel-take the Tram1 and it will leave you across the street from the hotel. Taxis are quite expensive as I learned the hard way-25 euros for a ride from the train station to the hotel, which was about 1.4 miles or about 5 stops on the tram.

Don’t stay in the annex

We stayed in this hotel last December and had a fantastic experience and wonderful room. This time, for some odd reason, we stayed in the annex. The room was not good, broken furnitures, bouncing chairs, missing curtain, bathroom fixtures broken, lack of shelf space. And to top, the room safety box broke with our passports inside and we had to wait more than 30 minutes to have someone over to open. Ups and the rate a was double from winter time. Go figure!

Poor customer service

The hotel night receptionist did not recognize my gold level status with Hotel.com. I asked him if there was any upgrade available and he said no without looking in his computer for the inventory of rooms. He simply said you have to biggest room which was a complete lie, We saw other bigger room on our same floor. I also asked him regarding the free drinks offered each day and he said we only get a welcome drink on the first day only. I tried to show him the paperwork from Hotel.com and he refused look at it.

Deeply Unpleasant

Booked as it seemed a reasonable price for a 4 star hotel, and while not in the centre, only a ten minute walk away. The reality is after checking in, I had to cross the busy road to the "annexe" building... I guess this was once a different hotel that Best Western have purchased. The room was very old fashioned - think 70's style wood furniture. I was not impressed to find a clump of the previous occupants hair on the floor (tiled, so easy to clean). The bed was tiny (single), the aircon unit gurgled all night, and the building was noisy with other people on the stairwell coming in after what was obviously a great night for them... so much so that I had to ask them to be quiet. Breakfast was very average, with the cleaner literally cleaning around people with some disgusting looking rag stinking of industrial disinfectant. Honestly it's hard to see where the 4 stars have come from - maybe 25 years ago they qualified. However, the standard is poor and felt more like a good effort in an economically deprived country than a 4 star in an economic centre of Europe. Cheap for a reason - best avoided.

Gute Lage und freundliches Personal, auch sauber. Allerdings veraltete Einrichtung mit dem Charme eine Pflegeheims. Veraltetes Heizungssystem, welches die Zimmer zu warm hält, selbst bei offenem Fenster, wobei man dann das Brummen einer lauten Lüftungsanlage im Hof hört. Die andere Seite geht zur Straße und ist auch laut.
