A lovely experience

This is a B&B, not a hotel. But it's a great B&B. Historic house in a beautiful parkland setting, with a great welcome, comfortable room and bed, modern bathroom and excellent breakfast. What more could you want?

Wonderful, cosy and comfortable historic premises. A treat to stay in. Staff could not be more amenable and pleasant. Great breakfast; many options. Highly recommended; will be staying there again.

Pleasant, quirky BnB with very helpful staff who will go the extra mile to make your stay that much better. I say quirky because the place as definitely got some history and is delightfully appointed, wait until you see the breakfast room :-)

Great stay.

Very good stay with a nice English Breakfast. Large bedroom and large communal lounge.Warm welcome and obliging host. We really liked the historic building, just our sort of place, and it was ideally situated for us, but felt the nature of the building and the rural location might not be suitable for everyone, although we would happily recommend.

Lovely place to stay

Made to feel very welcome nothing was to much trouble bed very comfortable room very quiet from bedroom windows you looked out onto county side after a long day working this was great their was other guests staying but you did not hear a thing I will be staying again and for what you get it’s not expensive.

Excellent

Stayed in Turville room, it was absolutely stunning. The bed and breakfast is also the family home but we were made to feel very welcome and at home. The house is beautiful and very clean and comfortable. The grounds around the house are beautiful with a long drive and loads of sheep around. Breakfast was lovely, just cannot fault anything. We will be staying again in the future and would highly recommend this place.

Don't like guest houses, but this one is great!

Nice stay again. Carolyn is friendly and everything runs like clockwork. Comfortable bed, nice furnishings, war room (no mean feat in an old property during December) and a lovely breakfast.
