The stay was good and the service was good. The only thing was that the bathroom door handle was broken and loose. Did not lock, the shower corner soap baskets were loose. The kitchen counter separated and the shelf next to the mirror was broken and hanging.

The place was wonderful and beautiful. It very well kept! The room was very spacious and the beds as well as sofa were comfortable. The actual sofa bed was not (felt all the springs) but the sofa was comfortable enough that our daughter just laid on it and was good.

We had to take a cold shower. There wasn't any hot water our entire stay. When we brought it to the staff's attention, we were told that it was being worked on. There was a stain in the toilet, which made me question the cleanliness of the establishment. The staff was nice.

The property was good. The room was clean and the kitchen was very useful. Came stocked with dish liquid, kitchen towel and dishcloth. One item of distraction was the carpet was threadbare in several areas.

Lubbock stay in June 2025

We enjoyed the spacious suite. Everything was good. It was clean. The bed was comfy. However, there were a few matters that need to be addressed :the carpet was torn in two areas, the bathtub drain didn't work well, the shower curtain was too short and caused water to leak out, the lamp shade was damaged, also the light above the stove was out. I wanted to use the pool, but there was no shade at all, and a few umbrellas would have been a really nice feature. (not everyone wants to bake in the sun). The door on the first floor, facing north was totally broken so the security factor was gone. When we got there, we were told about the parking fee per night, which was laughable. This is Lubbock and parking is not an issue anywhere. The fee was not declared when I reserved the room, and unnecessary. Just more corporate greed. Use the money to make room repairs,and improve the pool area. We enjoyed the food service and the staff was very friendly in there. Thank you.

Overall good stay.

Clean. Nice staff. One of cleaning staff didn't close my hotel room door after halfway cleaning/restocking the room. I was scared to walk in and slept with a knife by my bedside in case someone had entered my room. Elevator was shaky and sounded too unsafe to be in use.

I booked a Marriott property as we loved living in a Marriott in Paris, France. That was clean, with fantastic staff and cleaning service every day. Here are my issues with the property: 1. We were there early, so they told us the room would be ready closer to check-in time. We waited in the lobby, and they checked other people before us. 2. We requested a higher floor room, but they tried to stick us to some first-floor room while asking other guests which floor they would prefer. Ultimately, after I reminded the lady, she gave us 3rd floor. 3. Now the fun begins: The room at first looked clean till I discovered the blood on the comforter. That was disgusting. I had to go to the front office, get a new comforter, and make my bed. (Just what I wanted to do after paying close to $250 a night.) 4. The bathrooms were horrible. I have pictures if anyone wants to see them. I have always preferred a walk-in shower; I booked it because they showed a glass-door shower. However, they gave us an ugly curtained one, and on top of that, the curtain on the inside was dirty with black stains. 4. After telling them to get the room cleaned daily, they decided to be passive and not leave new towels. I will never ever stay in a Marriott property in Lubbock again.

The kitchen was dirty they never clean in side the the cabinets and the pots and pans were never cleaned i only had one staff member Susan who cleaned the room one time really good the whole week i stayed there, they are really short on staff and they need some help the best part about my trip was the staff the staff was nice and friendly 10 stars for the staff
