"I recently had a fantastic stay at this hotel, and I can't recommend it enough! From the moment I arrived, I was impressed with the warm and welcoming atmosphere. The highlight of my mornings was definitely the breakfast, it was absolutely delicious! In addition to the breakfast, the food from the hotel restaurant was really good because they actually have traditional food. My room was another highlight of my stay. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and I loved the quality of the sheets; I felt well-rested and relaxed throughout my visit. This hotel exceeded my expectations in every way, and I look forward to returning in the future!"

"The location was perfect. Quiet. The only draw backs was the mosquitoes in the rooms. No matter how many we kill, they always around. We all got bit. My son got the worst."
The Belle Rive Boutique Hotel

"This hotel exceeded all my expectations. I thought I was booking an ordinary 2-night stay, but that stay included: (1) a daily fresh-cooked breakfast you could order as much as you wanted; (2) a sunset cruise on the Mekong River; (3) a fully-stocked complimentary mini-bar that was replenished daily, as was the in-room fruit basket; and all kinds of other amenities in the room. My room had a balcony facing the river (with the only minus being the road under the balcony that had motorbikes buzzing through until around midnight). I believe I also had access to hotel bikes, but I never used them. My rate also included a food-and-beverage credit I used for dinner in the hotel restaurant, which had a good-sized menu of local specialties and western choices. The hotel is located fairly centrally within the town's historic center, a couple of blocks away from the busy main street."

"Great stay, we had the private villa with pool which was awesome. Friendly staff and not far to main centre of town. Great free shuttle from the hotel many times a day; plus to and from airport! Staff kept updated on what activities you were doing and great to book through as well. Would highly recommend"

"have had the great fortune of being a guest at Rosewood on numerous occasions, and each visit reminds me why I always look forward to returning. This most recent stay was for three nights, and once again, the experience was exceptional. I could easily make a lengthy list of reasons why Rosewood continues to stand out, but for me, it always comes back to two things: the architectural richness of the property, and above all, the extraordinary hospitality of the people who bring it to life. The Rosewood team has a rare ability to make you feel not simply accommodated, but genuinely cared for. Every detail feels intentional, every interaction thoughtful, and every moment quietly refined. There is a sense that the entire team is there with one purpose — to enrich your visit in a way that feels effortless, gracious, and deeply personal. The property itself offers everything a traveler could hope for when seeking serenity in the heart of nature. Surrounded by a canopy of lush trees, natural gardens, and the peaceful sound of a tranquil stream running through the property, Rosewood creates a sanctuary that feels both elegant and restorative. I am already excited to return again next year. My sincere thanks to the entire Rosewood team, and to the remarkable General Manager, Mr. Jonathan, whose leadership is clearly reflected in every aspect of the guest experience. "This was one of the best Hotels I stayed at during my tour of Laos. I proper family run hotel in a fantastic location with lots of good places to eat close by and walking distance to all the sights. The room was perfect. Bed was comfy, shower was amazing and the location for breakfast was great. I can't recommend this place high enough."

"The staff is really the star here. The property is beautiful and I have no complaints. But the attention to details of the staff in making sure my stay was premium. They went above and beyond. So surprised they offered dropoff /pick up to the city center as well as free bicycle rentals. Would definitely stay here again."
