"This is certainly not what we expected in tiny Boulder, Utah. It’s great location right by Burr Trail Road turnoff from UT 12, for access to the Long Canyon slot (singing) canyon and on to the Notom Bullfrog road for the waterpocket fold drive of Capitol Reef, NP. Took us about 3 1/2 hours, going down the Burr Trail dirt switchbacks. Stunning drive, we even found fossilized oysters along the drive shortly before getting back on paved road. We drove up Boulder Mountain the afternoon we arrived...

"We felt at home at Boulder Mountain Guest Ranch. The staff was super friendly. It was very nice visiting with the staff and guests. They have hiking trails that are well marked. The on-site restaurant is 5-star. We would highly recommend staying and dining at BMGR. "

"the room was impressive, from the ease of checking in to the comfortable chairs and view on the back patio. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom was more than we expected, the room was super quiet, and I must mention the coffee. We’ve stayed at places where the coffee was not fit for drinking, but we left there and days later we’re still discussing the coffee. Highly recommend the place!"

"The cabin was kind of cute but the inside looked like it was thrown together by adding shelves on brackets. The bathroom sink was too small. It was difficult to brush your teeth. The office had free coffee but nothing to purchase for a quick breakfast like muffins or pastries."

"We enjoyed our stay in the "Willow" yurt. It was clean and well maintained and the daily breakfasts were great! Though we did not partake of the on-sight options like the gas grill or fire pit, it was nice knowing they were there if we wanted them. Highly recommend Escalante Yurts!"

"Self service little place. Rooms are small but very clean and comfy. Nice coffee and supplies and ice. This will be our future place to stay in Escalante. Really a cute quite small place w a comfy bed great towels and shower and quiet…. Go out at night around back and gaze skyward "

"Really disappointing. They have 2 properties, we went to the one that we booked, no one there, empty, and finally after waiting for 15 or so minutes, someone came up and directed us to another property. Th address also not right, different from what we booked."
