"I tend to base reviews and stars on key criterion such as Bed Comfort, quality of breakfast, and friendliness of hosts. So with this in mind... Positives are: Bed was comfortable = 1 star Hosts were friendly and helpful (allowing me to park my motorcycle in the courtyard) = 1 star Breakfast was good = 1 star Negatives are: Shower is neither relaxing or pleasant. The water is powerful and hot but the shower head does not have a holder and thus needs to be held in one's hand. Added to that,...

"Absolutely couldn't wish for a better place to relax and recharge our 'parent' batteries. Beautiful place with a great and friendly service. Completely tranquil and romantic. Really enjoyed our stroll throught the vineyards and around the estate with while playing a fun game of quiz. Thoroughly recommend this place, in parcular to couples. "

"Fantastische ontvangst door de gastvrouw. Ze gaf me ook verschillende restaurant tips in de regio voor een andere keer (het was een maandagavond en alles was gesloten). Ik mocht mijn afhaalpizza in haar eetzaaltje nuttigen. Heel stil op een heuvel gelegen. Fantastische zichten over wijngaarden en Loire rivier. Super ontbijt. Ik kom zeker terug!"

"Belle maison originale et éclectique entièrement rénovée par Pascal notre hôte qui nous a merveilleusement accueillies. Chambres très confortables et bien décorées, accès à un espace extérieur, petite terrasse avec nécessaire de cuisine et frigo, tout était parfait ! "We spent a lovely few days with Jean-Phillipe and Michelle in this very tranquil and beautiful part of rural France. Jean-Phillipe had some local wines available to sample and also has a BBQ that can be used and a games room. The swimming pool was very clean and everything very well maintained. It’s a short drive to Saumur where there are shops and restaurants and activities such as bike hire. Would recommend."
