"It is hard to leave a perfect review. The place is old and not updated to allow us to charge our devices. There was no microwave so we ate a cold dinner. We were given wrong information that there would not be breakfast when it is advertised to provide it. Thankfully that was wrong and it was delicious. The coffee was the best I have tasted on a continental breakfast."

"Everything was great about this hotel except for the breakfast. The hotel room was clean and new. The gym has a lot of weights and cardio equipment and is clean. Front desk staff was friendly and helpful. Our breakfast was 45 minutes late and the chef got the order wrong twice in the same meal. They refunded our breakfast money because it was such a disappointing meal. Everything else about the hotel was excellent. Close to everything, within walking distance."

"I don’t know! Expedia said The Hancock House was Pet Friendly. I called for 3 days to verify and got no response from Hancock House or Expedia. We could not get our access code until 30 minutes before check in. This is when we found out they are NOT pet friendly. We were going to Louisville to be with my niece who was having brain surgery the next day. We had to find another place to stay last minute. We never went to Hancock House or stay any nights! We are still trying to get our money back. It’s been over a week and no response at all. We’ve turned it over to our credit card company. I would never suggest to stay there. "

"Room very clean and well kept. Staff were very friendly and valet was perfect. In walking distance of many great restaurants and shops. Only downside was that WiFi didn’t want to convey to our phones but after talking to the tech support line we were able to get it to work! Would greatly suggest staying here!"
