Pit stop on a road trip

The positive-Good location, grounds were a little messy, but overall good for a pit stop and place to sleep and shower. The Complaints- room smelled pretty musty and we only got two (rather thin) towels with 3 of us staying.

I mean it was good for what we paid. It was dirty but no bed bugs or roaches which was great. We had a dog and the staff knew and opened our door and let our dog run around which I wasn’t very happy about. We asked for towels cause we got two towels for five days for two people they said they had no towels so we used the same wash rag for five days. But it was cheap for LTL.

Clean tho older facility suited basic needs

Physical plant a bit worn. Shower curtain wouldnt stay closed due to it sagging and tub drain must have been clogged as it took forever to drain after shower. Was a little surprised about $50 damage deposit. Usually they just take your credit card info for that, not actually charge it and keep it that long.

Seriously terrible. Got to the room. it was FREEZING. Call the desk and they say it’s warming up. It did not. I left for the night and came back. Still freezing. I had the flu so I just sleep praying it warms up. woke up at 3 am shivering. point of almost death. -15 outside. I call the desk. No answer. I take my sick body to the office. Locked. sit in my car. call the next twenty mins. Then I gave up and fell asleep in my car. The next day, I go to the desk and tell them. No apology. Then send a maintenance an hour later who simply slaps the machine and says it doesn’t work. No crap. So they moved me rooms. The next room was okay but I was upset I paid for a freezing room and slept in my car. So I call corporate. Telling them the story took 45 mins. What the heck. They say they will call the front desk and DEMAND I get another night at the hotel in the better room. They placed me on hold and said the manager wasn’t in the office until 11am. Check out time. So she can’t get him to do it. But SHE would call back at 11:30 and for me to just stay in my room until I hear an answer. She never called. They had no clue. Guy bangs on the door and demands me get out of the room or pay for another night. Tried to explain it. Didn’t care and argued with me and threatened to CALL THE POLICE! What! So I had to QUICKLY pack and get out of the room. I go to the office and spend 45 mins arguing. He tried to charge me for late check out. Eventually he gave up. But kept my deposit. AVOID
