"About 20 years ago, I wanted to stay at this property. I wasn’t able to, but I always knew that I would take my wife there one day. Well, 20 years later, I finally took my wife there and the property was not what it used to be. We caught it just as they were beginning to do a major renovation. Believe me, it needs it. We stayed on the ground floor in an ocean view room. The bed was clean, but old, carpets were shot, drapes were shot, room was pretty tore up and needed paint and the whole works. I imagine they’ll be working on the room we stayed in within the next few months. By then I’m sure the price will double. Other than that, restaurant was great, front desk (Iris?) was absolutely awesome. The pool was sparkling clean and the Jacuzzi was as well. I love that they have a little s’mores kit that you can purchase for a small price and make s’mores at their fire pits overlooking the ocean. Really nice touch. All in all I would definitely go there again once they are done with a major, major, remodel."

"This place was fine. It was clean and in a good location. Easy to find. The beds were fine, not great, and pretty basic. I think for me, I don't love the motel type setup even if the place is updated and clean. Having only one window that people are walking by is a little awkward. Also, the walls seemed pretty thin, or maybe it was the connecting door (closed and locked). The person in the next room was snoring the entire night and I could hear them. Thankfully, it was a steady, not super loud snore, so it didn't keep me up, but at times in the middle of the night, the noise did startle me as it was distinct enough to hear."

"The hotel was very clean and spacious. We loved the view! The toilet was having some issues flushing but nothing major. The staff was quick, kind and attentive and they accommodated a late check out for us. I do wish breakfast was included like some of the other hotels near by but overall it was a great stay!"
