Misleading

House was beautiful but nearly impossible to find. Ran out of water the first night and did not get more until 3pm next day. The website picture was completely misleading as there was no pool on premises - but a long block away and no lounges etc. TVs in bedrooms did not work for us. W tried to follow the owners instructions, but failed. The living room TV got only Netflix.

Condo experience

the condo experience was overall was a plus for my family. The pros: beautiful home, 3bedroom well decorated and clean. Washer and dryer. Home had all supplies for cooking cleaning and toiletry. Rooftop hang out. With beautiful view of Cabo. Had to Add hours to check out with no problems. Thank you Cons: no internet service at home like noted on sale service. No wifi close enough to pick up. 4 different properties with pools that are driving needed. No poolside bar only in main phase.

Very far from beach. It's far away ocean view. They are building new house now. You need car to go outside to buy water and food. You can not swim in hotel. The staff is terrible.

Ampliamente recomendado

Aunque no está cerca de una playa, tiene muchas ventajas para familias grandes, cerca se encuentran centros comerciales y como cuenta con todo lo necesario para preparar y tomar alimentos como son desayuno y merienda, tambien cuenta con buena alberca.

Great place, low key and excellent view. I bit off the path to drive to but simple drive with GPS. Staff was kind to wait for our late arrival.

broken hair dryer

The manager asked me to pay for a broken poor quality hair dryer. I refused to pay for it, took me some effort to explain it was damaged the first day when I used for less than 5 minutes. I was told I must report on the first day not waited till the last day. This created some discomfort at the last day of my departure asking me to pay $30 US dollar for replacement cost. I was not happy with such action. Selection of quality electric products are very important.

Nice hotel with beautiful view.

We spent 4 days in Los Cabos and the accommodations were very comfortable. Spacious rooms, nice terrace with bar-b-q area, the view was amazing.

Don't stay here

Impossible to find, it is a residential community not a hotel , it is very far from the beach and activities, the decor is dated and worn and the property is not appealing. There was only 1 outdoor lounges chair as the other was still broken and loged against the fence where it has been since the hurricane 7 months ago.

Quiet Community with Amenities

This is a residential community with amenities (restaurant, spa, several pools). It was a decent value in terms of space, & amenities. It is not on the beach, but several miles from town on the north side of the highway, up the hill. A rental car is recommended. The residents seem to be a combination of middle class locals, retirees from the US and some vacation rentals. It did not have a tourist resort feel, but more of a mostly quiet community with amenities. The good: • Very nice, polite, helpful employees. • Nice views from the main club/pool and restaurant. • Good value for amenities. The restaurant was a good value as was the spa. • The Spa. On a US budget, the massages were really a good value ($40US). The spa is very nice, with all the right sounds, smells and décor (bubbling water, fragrances, dim lighting and candles, etc.), and a very good massage. • There are several pools and they are very sparsely used. The not good: • Not walkable to anything in downtown Cabo. It feels remote and you should have a rental car to avoid waiting long periods for a taxi. • Not on the beach, which is several miles away. • Doesn’t have the resort feel, where you are meeting people from around the world and the vibe of people on vacation. • Our home was advertised as an ocean view, but there were no views from any window in the house (it faced homes across the street). You had to go upstairs to a roof deck for a view, which we didn’t get to use much. • Several items were broken in our home (TV, living room air conditioner, back-up in laundry drain). All but the air conditioner were fixed when we called the resort.

Club house and view and spa were spectacular. The home was worn and the beds were hard. Was clean and served our purpose.

Great Family Trip

My overall review of the villa was a great location for a family to stay at I wish the signs for the location where a little more bigger at first I had a hard time finding the residences due to the other resort and hotels with the same name. But over all the staff was great and we had a great time.Nice and quiet location to get away from everything.The guards at the gate where nice and very pleasant. I would definitely want to come here again.

Nice complex with upscale amenities. Nice views of Cabo san Lucas.

Lo recomiendo ampliamente Estuvimos dos familias en una Villa del hotel estuvo increíble ya que mis hijos disfrutaron de la alberca privada y todas las comodidades lo único que nos fallo fue que nunca tuvimos señal en la TV .

quiet, comfortable, clean

Approximately 3 miles from downtown Cabo San Lucas and 3/4 mile up a hill off the main highway. A quiet respite from the "spring breakers". Spaciousness and privacy of a detached home but with many hotel amenities. Our travel group of six were pleased and comfortable in the clean 3 bedroom home. Mild wear and tear just starting to show on cabinetry and some tiles, but everything functioned well.

Incredible and memorable!

Our first trip to Cabo, and we made the perfect lodging choice! We're not much for the big crowds and noise that accompany some of the other resort style options in the area. Nor did we want to split up our family with multiple undersized hotel rooms. The Ventanas Hotel & Residences exceeded our every expectation. The staff, grounds, view and accomodations were amazing. A bit off the beaten path, was perfect for our purposes, privacy and recovery after each day of activities and exploration. Many thanks to Patricia and Gaililea for their patience and assistance. We will return.

On a Hill, Overlooking the Bay, Upscale

It's a residential community. We booked a flight/hotel package;' they gave us a whole house, with a small pool in the backyard and a barbecue. Full kitchen. Look out on the city lights at night. Gourmet casual restaurant and spa.. Its best to have a car to get around - it's on a hill..

Ventanas

We booked 2 rooms both with swimming pools and fire pit and and when we checked in only one of those rooms was available. When asked why they adverstised that we would have private pools they could not comment-- only said that each unit was different. At the end of the day the unit was clean and view was great but I was dissapointed that the hotel did not deliver what they adverstised.

Great Family Spot

Great 3BR condo. Nice pool, not 5 star resort pool, but nice enough. Remember, it's mexico, so a little quirky, but was a fabulous stay for our family. For example, almost almost impossible to find from main road, poor signage. A/C was also a little sketchy, and it's not a hotel. All this being said, it was awesome. Definately need a rent-a-car. Take them up on the available boat rental, it's a beautiful boat.

Couldn't Believe It!

This was described as a 3-bedroom villa, but even so, we were very surprised and incredibly pleased when we were given a tour. A very nice, new, well-appointed free-standing 2-story town house in a gated community with our own swimming pool, hot tub, fire pit, and gas grill, as well as a beautiful balcony off our bedroom with beautiful views of Cabo and the ocean. Up a short hill was a community pool, playground, fitness center, and "deli" - a little short-order grill with limited menu but excellent food. This place is not a traditional hotel but just a unit in a homeowner gated community; however, there are several staff employees available. Every person we contacted on the property could not have been more friendly and helpful, and we had daily maid service. Our only complaint was that the TV's satellite reception was out so we had no TV. The staff tried to get it fixed, but it never happened during our stay. We pictured the place as being right above the town, but actually it's 2 or 3 miles up in the hills above Cabo - so you definitely need a car. Bottom line: we loved this place and couldn't believe our luck! We highly recommend it - it was really fun having our own private pool and villa!

Awesome Home Away from Home

Place is great, started sorta shaky took us a while to find. Reception wasn't very organized we were told to follow someone on a scooter and they directed us to our Home. We had to go back searching for someone to give us a key and explain what was going on. After this, we straightened out all the details and the rest is nothing but Wonderful. We had our own pool, gas grill, fire pit and lots of sitting area and chairs in back yard. The inside was also great fully decked out kitchen with all appliances, also a laundry room with washer/dryer. everything fully furnished. Costco is down the street or if you go further a bit walmart and Sams we filled out or fridge n freezer. This place also has a Boat that they lease if you're into fishing or snorkelling......If you go soon you can get to see the whales, its awesum....Overall this place is great...not far from beach but if you rent a car you can go to public beaches our favorite was Chileno Bay...and its not far...Oh yes,,,,its best if you rent a car. We loved this place and we are definitely going back.
