The property outside really needs a good cleaning (high pressure wash) especially around the doors. (I am a non-smoker) The hotel should provide more ash containers; cigarette butts all over the grounds. Benches to sit on at the pet area would be a nice add. There is a nice area right in the front, would be great if there were benches or table and chairs to sit and enjoy one's coffee. Our room could have been cleaner, we had to wipe down both bed side tables; spilled something was all over and super sticky, yuck. The outside of the refrigerator was super sticky as well. The staff is very nice and helpful. The one thing that bugged me is I called a day ahead and asked if it was possible to check in early and I was told call back the morning of our arrival to so they could tell if there was going to be any early check outs also, they could prioritize a cleaning for us. I did as instruct and was told flat NO, no just a moment let me check, just NO. We arrived after 1:00pm walked into the Lobby and there was a staff member who greeted us. I asked If it was possible to check in early and again no let me look just a flat NO come back at 3:00pm "Thats check in". The fact that the excuse was the rooms were not clean yet obviously shows they were not truthful because we had to clean the nightstands, refrigerator and stove ourselves. We have stayed here many times in the past, going to have a rethink on accommodations for next time.
