We had a room that was for five people to queen beds and a convertible sofa. It was a large room. We did not feel cramped. Had a kitchenette with pots and pans we did not use but would be nice for a longer stay. Full-size refrigerator. Definitely would stay here again if the Occasion necessitated.

I recently stayed at the TownePlace Suites by Marriott Los Angeles LAX/Hawthorne, and my experience was a mixed bag. While the overall property, staff, and surrounding area were very nice and conveniently located near the expressway and notable shops, but my stay was marred by several issues that led to me changing rooms three times. Upon arrival, we were greeted with a non-functional elevator that briefly trapped a guest inside. Though this issue was resolved before we left, it made us uneasy. The first room we were assigned had a stained sofa that clearly needed replacement and less-than-clean bedding. The bathroom showed significant wear and tear, with rust stains and white residue on the showerhead. After bringing these issues to the attention of the front desk, they were very accommodating and promptly moved us to another room. The second room was only marginally better. The sofa was still in poor condition, the bathroom door handle was broken, and a stove knob was missing. The bathroom had similar wear and tear issues, including rust and residue. This room change process, especially with my 79-year-old mother, was quite inconvenient. I approached the front desk again for a third room. The staff, who remained consistently pleasant and accommodating, apologized profusely and even comped my parking fee of about $100. There was limited parking on the weekend and the room only supplied 3 of everything ( 3 forks, 3 spoons, 3 towels, 3 rags) even though we reserved the room for 4. There were minor items that could use upgrading but over all very nice place!

Staying here with family on Father's Day for a 4 day vacation was wonderful. Everything went smooth and easy to find near airport. My family loved the free breakfast. The pool was a bit small since there's a lot of crowds. We didn't get to swim. Overall it was an enjoyable experience to stay and relax on after a long day of our trip.
