"Clean nice hotel by the beach access!"

" Very comfortable cottage—kitchenette was just the right size for two. No beach view, but about a 4-6 block walk to the ocean. Clean linens and comfortable bed. Kitchenette was stocked with dishes and miscellaneous kitchen items. Pleasant and quiet location in October. Friendly staff."

"The ocean clearly visible from our suite. The suite was big, with an extra bedroom with its own bathroom. Also, a full kitchen with a full size refrigrator was included. The pool area was alright and I enjoyed both the pool and the hot tub, but the cleanliness left something to be desired. The free breakfast was sufficient with all the basics, but had to wait over half an hour for the omelet once, and over 10 minutes another time."

"The room isn't big, but its clean and they have done a nice job arranging things so that it has everything you need to be comfortable (and providing extras like chocolates on our pillows and bath salts). I watched the sunset over the ocean while soaking in the deep jetted tub.I awoke in a lovely soft bed to ocean breezes, the sound of waves, and quite. We'll be back!"

"Owner/host gave us tour and recommendations for dinner that were close by. Historic building that has been lovingly restored and includes modern amenities and bathrooms. Has a lot of extra touches like cookies and coffee in entry, bathrobes, room darkening shades, great breakfast."

"Before Salt Hotel and Pub opened or reopened(?) we only thought of Ilwaco as a fishing stop. Now for us it’s a destination! Great food and drinks at the pub, cozy comfy rooms, minutes from Long Beach and Astoria. Highly recommend!"
