"The room is very nice and clean but too dark. A Cafe is still in construction so we had to go to a beach cafe for breakfast, which was nice and quiet.
Staff is really nice and helpful.
You have to rent a scooter, as nothing is in walking distance.
There are also limited dining options in this area."

"This was the last stop on the inaugural All Blue Swim Tour, and it couldn't have gone better. Everyone was blown away by the spacious, comfortable rooms, the incredible attention to detail, the grounds and the friendliness of the staff. There is safe swimming with beautiful coral off the sandy beach and places to do yoga if you wish. We could not have had a better time and the BBQ on the beach was a special moment. THANK YOU!!!! We will be back next year."

"I had an absolutely amazing stay at Mandalika Cottage on Gili Trawangan! The location is perfect—close enough to walk to everything but tucked away just enough to enjoy peace and quiet at night. The room was spacious, spotlessly clean, and equipped with everything I needed for a comfortable stay: a fridge, drinking water, AC, and hot water. The breakfast was delicious and filling, setting me up perfectly for a day of exploring.

"The ad is misleading because it is not located on the beach - it is a 5 minute walk inland. You have to type in 'Joevanna Cottage' (with 2 n's) into Google Maps to find the correct location. Also, there are small ants in the room. It was only for one night so it was ok. The plus is that there was hot water for the shower."
"SCAM. Nothing like pictures. Building area looked like a slum. Disgusting room. Previous flooding visible on the walls. No desk to talk to just a phone service where the so called manager promised a refund as we could not stay there. Weve found other honest operators on gili t, so cant get our money back but hope this serves as a warning. After speaking to locals we were told tgeyhave been scamming people for ages, so why are still on expedia??"
"The property felt almost abandoned. No one at reception at any moment of our stay, the housekeeping staff let us in. No restaurant, no help to book airport transfer as advertised on Hotels.com. Nipah beach is lovely, but this hotel is not as advertised."
