Rooms were dated, tv worked occasionally,safes did not work,bathroom shower mould on floor tiles. Room key did not work properly had to keep returning to reception to get there master key.

It's was an experience we wanted, to stay in a castle. The Ruthin Castle has a ton of history. It's a bit run down but I guess that could be the charm. We had the Spa to ourselves which was nice. Breakfast was good, room was clean, apart from dirty tea cups, a lot of damp around the window . Staff were all lovely
