Wouldn’t stay again. Very noisy. Room was all satisfactory however didn’t feel comfortable or safe being a single women. The rooms around also banged doors all night.

Staying at Malmaison Oxford felt like doing time… The room was spacious, spotless, the bed was actually comfortable (shocking for a former prison), turning on the lights gives you that prison sound and the location is dangerously convenient for wandering Oxford. Room sold as water view didn’t have proper view of the lake. Bathroom was shabby, paint on door and floor and towel rail was clinging on by a thread. Old boathouse food was very mediocre and disappointing.
